Dogs or cats?

i grew up with both cats and dogs, but i seem to be a cat person, i like have the cat curl up on my lap and fall asleep while i pet her. lol i can't really say the reasons for sure, i just prefere a cat

dawn I envy ur love for cats. but count me out, cat in my local community is a symbol of witchcraft, wherever we c cat at night even in broad daylight, we hav the feeling that a witchcraft activity is about to manifest in the neighbourhood. please forgive me. I like dogs rather, friends of man forever.

Hmmm, that is a toss up! I have both so that is a really hard choice. I would say cats because they can pretty much take care of themselves. But my chihuahua is pretty much able to take care of herself as well, since she uses puppy pads. I do like the purring of a cat, especially when something on my body is aching and they lay on it and purr, makes it feel so much better.

I grew up with cats. My whole family were cat people. We had a rat, turtle, fish and stuff, but never dogs. My partners family were always dog people and always had a dog around. Though I am open to maybe having a small toy dog but my partner keeps his big hunting dogs at his family house and not mine.

Im at heart a cat person, but i too also love dogs! i just love animals, really! They both have great things to love about them, only thing is that a dog is a little more work, but they are good at gaurding your house and making you feel safe. Cats are more soothing, when i have a bad day my cat gets on my lap and next thing you know im just thinking about how sweet they are and have forgotten about my bad day. So i guess i would say Cats, but its a close one.
