Is your cat as silly as mine?

Please see the picture attached...
I've got two cats but my youngest Billy whose now three is such a loving cat, I've never known a cat like him and I've had quite a few!
He always has to be near me and in bed he gets under the covers with me for a while, then sleeps near my head.
He thinks he's a dog sometimes and plays with his toy mouse, I throw it for him and he brings it back to me!
I've attached a picture of him asleep on my arm as I'm trying to tap away on the computer!
Anyone else got softies like this?

Your kitty is a cutie. He looks quite comfortable in that picture
We have several cats as well that can be just as silly. They will lay in the darnedest places and in the strangest positions at times. I don't know how they can be comfortable at all like that. All of them seem to love boxes. Doesn't matter if they can fit in the box or not, they will force themselves into it. If the box is big enough sometimes more then one will force their way in at a time. Below is a picture of two of ours who have done this. That box wasn't too small but some of them they will use they end up stretching the seems with.

You're very welcome. I'm glad you liked it. I'm not sure what it is with boxes but I know ours love them. Our one cat Oliver in particular will really go for them. I saw him squeeze into a box that was way too small for him but he got in there. He seemed quite content in there too. Silly thing

Ha! Thanks for the picture! It's strange how cats like boxes isn't it? I've just packed some of my daughters things up and the box is currently sat in my bedroom. Both of them have tried to get in there - what is the fascination of them? Is it really curiosity killed the cat?? Thanks for your contribution!

I also have 2 cats..One i have had for a few years,i got him as a baby..The other cat someone just dropped off and we have had her for awhile too...Now my cat that i have had since birth is "Thomas"He is so sweet and gentle,he don't like to fight,he is a lover all the way..He stays by my side ,will sleep with me and actually cuddle,he licks, and kisses..He don't like trouble..If another cat or my dog tries to eat his food,he will step away. He comes when i call him,if i sit on the porch swing he is there with me..He is extreemly tame, and would not hurt anything...The other cat is picky, she will hiss at other animals ans she will try to bite, when she plays, shes a good cat but never have i ever saw any cat as gentle as "Thomas" Everybody that comes to my house loves "Thomas", hes kind and sweet...If some dog is mean with him he just lays down and rolls over and looks at me...I think he actually talks to me in his own way...My friends say he is psysic..Haha...

It's lovely when you've got a really loving cat isn't it? Although mine can get annoying when he's lay over my arm like he is the photo as I do some design works which needs a steady hand! Thanks for your support!

He's adorable! Must be something about grey tabbies...my silly kitty is my avatar and she likes playing computer games too. her favorite is step on the big blue power button while Mommy is working....
We just got her a remote control car, which she runs from, but she adores the remote control which has a big wire antennae for her to bat around. :)

Yes there must be something about them! Love your avatar! It's wicked you got her a remote control car - what fun! I think mine would just go and hide under the covers though! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Yeah they can be a bit 'manic' at times - my leather settee is ruined by my cats using it as a race track - with their claws out I might add! Thanks for participating!

Cute kittie. Mine are crazy too. One acts like a human. Sits and sleeps just like a person would. She's definately lady like. My youngest is by my side all the time she sleeps on me where ever i am. They are my kids because i no kids. I love them just as much as having kids.

What a cute kitty! I have one that reminds me of yours! He was born in the house, i found his mother on the street when she was 3 weeks old and then she managed to get mixed up with another stray (that became my pet also) The kitten looked just like his father so i named him Junior. This cat is like a circus cat, with just a signal from me he jump from the floor into my arms, where he them likes to climb onto my shoulder and lie down and rub on my face. He sleeps on my stomach is im sleeping on my back, and he sleeps on my back if im sleeping on my side. And yes, he will find away to sleep on my side too lol I have had MANY cats, and i have 9 at the moment and i have never had one like him, he isnt even a year old and he is so well trained i want to get him into TV or something, he is so darn cute! Sometimes he jumps onto my shoulder from behind when im not expecting it, but he is very gentle, he just startles me! He also does it to guests lol you got to watch your back when you bend down to tie a shoe because he will take that opportunity to jump onto your back lol

Ah the old jumping on your back routine - I did have one many years ago who did that. My older cat likes to sleep on my back when I'm in bed! It's great you have so many cats, unfortunately two is my limit as I live in an apartment, but would have many more if I had a house! Thanks for your response!

I have only had one softy cat like that and that was Charlie, he really loved me, he liked to come to bed and lay on my stomach with his paws near my face and he would stay there until I rolled him over and he would lay with his head on my arm his belly up, he was beautiful but he passed away suddenly and the cat I have now adopted me but she is not a loving cat, she just wants to be fed....

We don't have cats as the boys are allergic but the ferrets are a complete trip. They get into everything and love to sleep in my boots. I learned the hard way that ferrets generally do not like it when you try to cram your foot into a boot or shoe and they are there trying to sleep lol.

I had a ferret many moons ago, but sadly he was vicious so we gave him back to the handler. I could imagine he didn't like your foot waking him up lol!

Yes, my cat is the exact same way. He is laying around my neck and the back of the chair as I type this. He is very loving and will often lay and purr on my shoulder or back where it may be hurting, it is as if he senses that it hurts, and often makes it feel better. I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world even though he can be annoying at times.

Yes I would agree, mine can be a 'bit much' at times, especially if I'm trying to do graphic designs on the pc where you hand needs to be stable on the mouse. Or if you just don't want to be sat on! I wouldn't trade mine either!

My cat is not that silly, but he is pretty smart. He seems to know several words including snack, outside mouse and beleive itor not TV. He also can open every door in the house. I love him because he always comes when I call him. He comes more than the dog does.

That's quite sweet, mine knows the word 'meecey' as this is the name for his toy mouse that I play with. Thanks for responding!
