Do you prefer your partner with facial hair or clean shaven?

I have always preferred a man to be clean shaven but I find that sometimes I do not mind the facial hair. How about you? I definately want nothing to with a whole lot of facial hair. it at least has to be shaven and well kept.

My husband had a mustache when I met him, (he was 15) and now 43 years later, he has a beard to go along with the mustache and I wouldn't have it any other way.. He has been clean sahven, but I do prefer the beard and mustache.. He is very good about keeping it clipped, I could not stand it to be nasty looking or unkempt, his is just right..

Ah. I guess your hubby is very happy you dont mind is beard. i know some men do not like to have to shave so constantly at all. I really dont like the facial hair very much so this where the of different strokes for different folks helps to bring balance to this life of ours. Cheers and thanks for sharing Donna. (lol)

I love moustaches as long as they are neat and trimmed not the handlebar or walrus type. I cannot stand beards. I like clean shaven personally, but some men look good with a trim beard, trim moustache, etc. If my man had a beard I'd have him with either a goatee or very thin line on the jaw type.

I would prefer clean shaven, which is exactly what my boyfriend was when we first dated. Now, he's reverted back to his heavy metal image - long hair and beard! It doesn't really bother me as we've been together for so long now but I would prefer it if he got rid of it!

Got you Podqueen. I hate it so much i would have nagged the hell out of him to get rid of it had I been your shoes. Tolerance is something one learns as they go along no doubt. Guess I would lacking there. Thanks for sharing(lol)

i think it depends on that person and what that person looks like...some men look better clean-shaved and some men look better with beards and hairy. and it also depends on the partner's preference for either one on their partner.

Now that is true. i seen some men whose beard make them look real sexy and it even suits them better than a clean shave. I'll admit that much. Thanks for sharing Fifileigh. (lol)

I'm not a fan of facial hair. It's okay if there's a little bit of scruff, or maybe a little goatee sort of thing [what my boyfriend has now], but I don't want a big lumberjack beard. .

Thanks for sharing CheshireKat. I know what you mean about that lumberjack bit. I find it exceptionally unattractive on any man. (lol)

I prefer my man clean shaven only because if he lets it grow a little its so rough and it hurts my face and ive really sensitive skin so end up walking round with a rash.

I also like my boyfriend to have his face clean shaven, but there are times where he let's it grow out just a tiny bit. Not enough to be called a real beard or anything. But I so much prefer when he is clean shaven. This last weekend he neglected to shave and his beard hairs were scratching me on my face a bit when he was snuggling me. I complained about it a little but I never had this problem before. He looks good both ways but I would never be able to stand a full on beard on my man!

A bread certainly adds sexyness to how some men look. Dealing with the feel against your skin can definately present an entire ball game altogether as you mentioned though. Thansk for sharing Roxanne. (lol)

I use to say I didn't like facial hair and then I met my husband who has a beard and moustache and I love it. He keeps it neatly trimmed so he doesn't look like Grizzly Adams and it really suits his face. The trick is to keep it neatly trimmed. If he let it go, I would not like it at all and he would know it.

My husband has a long beard and has had since the day I met him. I have only seen him clean shaven in photos. There is nothing wrong with a full beard as long asa it is kept neat and clean.

Wow. Along beard Gingermegs. I cant see myself ever accepting him with a long beard at all. So heres where we do the different strokes for different folks dance. It really does serve to add varity to this life and you know what they say....Varity is the spice of life. Thanks for sharing, (lol)
