Woman suspected of killing her babies

I always feel very sad when I read/hear about a woman who believed she had to hide her pregnancy to the extent that she kills the newborn. What torment she must endure for all those months. In the U.S. there are places in many states where you can leave a newborn or infant safely and anonymously. While many young women don't know about the law or don't know where the safe haven is located, more babies are being saved with this policy. While this may save the child it doesn't speak to the issue of unwanted pregnancies in women. It is still unacceptable, if not illegal, to abort pregnancies in may places. And while I understand the conflicting ideas about abortion I still think there must be a better solution for unwanted pregnancies. This is not an easy issue at all.

Not just bizarre but sickening if you do not want to bear children for heavens sakes use birth control. What kind of a person could put her babies on ice like a package of beef or some food, how cruel and how monstrous.There are thousands of people looking for children to adopt so why did she not put these babes up for adoption not kill them.this is getting to be one sorry old world for such things to happen.

I can't imagine how shocked those children were! I would have freaked! I cannot imagine that. Why are people so heartless anymore?

Yikes! There are some strange people out there. Maybe she was afraid and did not know what to do? I guess we will never know exactly what happened. Those poor little babies...

i read this article yesterday on cnn.com and i cant believe no one found them before i mean that is along time to hid 3 babies in a freezer!!!!! how could that not be on her mind all the time. I know if i hid a baby in a freezer (which i never will omg no) it would be on my mind like all the time! i cant believe her at all that is just insane!

YUCK! i cannot begin to imagine what was going on in this woman's head all of those years ago! i can almost understand how it may have begun, but to do it over and over, and keep the evidence?? there had to have been signs in plenty of ways that this woman was completely unbalanced!

That is horrible, absolutely horrible to hear! Those poor poor babies! I don't know how in the world she was able to hide the pregnancies especially from her own husband! Something is extremely wrong with that woman! I hope she gets the punishment she deserves and the mental help she so desperately needs!

She wasnt too smart putting them in the freezer where any one can look and if she didnt want them just why didnt she go have an abortion!

You know esther, i have tried with all that is within me to try and understand "why" or "how" people could be so cruel and mean...For the life of me ,I cannot understand what happened to these people,and how they could possibly do such things...I have come to the understanding that i have to just leave it in Gods hands,because i cannot figure how people could commit these gross and inhuman acts....I do not know how they can sleep at night or live knowing these horrible deeds they have committed...They must be some type of mental abnormality...

I know sometimes people may not know they are pregnant until they are about to give birth - this has been proven time and again but to be able to hide 3 pregnancies and then to put the bodies of teh babies in a freezer for many years - this is beyond belief! I just cannot conceive what this women was thinking of or how she could cope knowing that the bodies of 3 of her babies lay frozen in the bottom of the freezer! That this seems to be one of quite a few cases in recent years just blows my mind! xxxx

Another bizarre news story. It's amazing how many there are and just when you think that you've heard it all there's a new one. How can you hide something like that? Plus, was a triplets or did she do this three different times? I can't believe that the babies would not been able to be adopted. It's also weird how there all these other stories involving babies being murdered. What was going on in the communities at the time where people felt they had to do this?

I read this news with horror. I feel sorry for the surviving children having to confront their parents with this and then reporting them to the police. They did the right thing and it must have been an absolutely awful experience for them to find these little bodies in the freezer.

That's messed up. How could no one find out the babies before that? Did she like...guard the freezer or something?

How is it possible to hide a pregnancy from your own husband and children? And how can you hide three babies from your family in the family freezer for that many years? This is just another one of those horrible things in life that I will not understand.

Hi estherlou! That is really horrible! How could she ever do something like that? And I am really wondering how she was able to hide 3 pregnancies from her family. I don't think whatever story she has or whatever her reasons are, her actions will never be justified. Just my thoughts dear. Take care and have a nice day!
