I went to my friend Jane's last weekend. She cooked icecream. I had never seen so many ice cream choices before. They were so different and all looked quite delicious. Most of them I still can't remember the name. I remember one was beer float. It'sa vanilla ice cream in a glass of root beer.Another was an ice cream cone dipped in melted chocolate. It's tiramisu-flavored with crushed peanuts sprinkled on top and waffle cone. That was amazing! You know,in China,we don't cook icecream,we just order it in the shops.I never expect that you could make homemade icecream.I mean you could make homemade cookies, but icecream, you know you know... It's amazing! Do you make homemade icecream ?

The recipes with eggs and stuff that need to be cooked, do require cooking just as custard does! After you cook it, you put it in the ice cream maker! There is even a recipe for baking ice cream, it is delicious, and it is called "baked Alaska"!

i don't actually know how to make an ice-cream... never try it before and i don't know the recipe to make it... if i want to eat ice cream, i usually just buy it from outside... that's it... saves time and my trouble of making it... anyway, your friend's ice-cream sounds so yummy... i really wish i can try some... :-)

Yes, we have always made homemade ice cream. It is so delicious in the summer. My mama always made it and I didn't pay much attention as to how she made it. Now she is gone and I don't know how to make it. She didn't cook hers before making it. I have read where so many cook it to thicken it and then after it cools it is ready to pour in freezer.

I do make ice cream, but I do not cook it, I use the vitamixer! It is a very strong type of machine, like a blender, but it can crush ice and even grind flour out of wheat berries! All I do to make a healthier ice cream, is to use yogurt and soy milk, add ice, and fruit, and mix it all together! It is delicious!

Oh homemade icecream is the best! I haven't made it for ages but we have an icecream maker that we can just throw the ingredients in & it mixes it & freezes it for us!

Well there is nothing so extra ordinary with making icecreams at home. We make it throughout the summer season. The range which i make include simple, mango mix, tuty fruity, butterscotch. And believe me there is nothing so extraordinary or difficult about these. Simple things to do and my family loves it.

When my boyfriend and I moved into our new place, as a housewarming gift some of our friends bought us an electric ice cream maker. It actually makes delicious ice cream and I really like it because we have more control over the ingredients. This means we can use less sugar and beter quality cream or milk if we want to. You can also use it to make sorbet, which is espeicalyy good for be because I can't have too much milk without getting a major stomach ache. I think the best flavor we made was raspberry ice cream with fresh raspberries. It came out a very bright pink, that my little sister especailly loved.

We used to make ice cream when we were kids and it was loads of fun. All the kids would take turns churning it. That got tougher to do as the ice cream got more and more frozen and hard. That was a long time ago before they had the electric ice cream makers. I still don't have a favorite flavor or a favorite way of eating it. I love soft serve cones, I love hard ice cream and I love the new mixed ways they have it too. I really enjoy going to the shops that make their own ice cream and then put it on a marble slab and mix what ever you want into it. That is like creating your very own flavor.

I have never made homemade ice cream myself. My grandma used to make it alot in the summer time she had an ice cream maker. My neighbors across the street made some last year and they brought us over some. Homemade ice cream is really good.

I have never made homemade ice cream, I have thought about it once or twice but never actually got around to having a go. It is easier to go out and buy it!! It sounds like your friend is pretty good at it though and likes her ice cream.

We have an ice cream maker, which we haven't used in about 2 years, but we used to use it a lot. I like it because it's a lot cheaper than buying it from the store, and it is healthier without addatives or preservatives. We can make any flavor we choose by adding some flavoring and cookies or candies. I might just have to pull out the machine and make myself some now!
