Im wondering how many of us here would like ..or maybe have..a powerful man for a partner.A high flying, confident male. Do you feel attracted to that sort of guy?? or would you feel more so intimidated by him??

I am pretty powerful right now Ruby. I have just come in from mowing the lawn I would have severe reservations about any girl that was to find my current scent attractive!! I have to take a phone call then a shower and I shall return to a has been. A powerful man that smells fresh as a newly bathed baby!

This is purely hypothetical my dear Pike, there is nothing wrong at all with the smell of fresh `sweat`..tis well earned..I sometimes think a powerful male would be OK,but then I take a reality check and think...would he be too bossy??..... PS.I can lend you my Sure if you like. PPS Are you SURE you dont want to borrow it? pps..soz...couldnt resist that one.

Hey, there's only room for one high flyer in this relationship :-) I'll leave you to guess who it might be! I don't have a 'type' that I go for, so in the past I've dated guys who were out there and confident and guys who were more comfortable hiding behind their keyboards. They all had their merits (well I think they must of done at the time, though I fail to see some of them with the benefit of hindsight!). I think the wonderful thing about the current Mr Moo is that he's mine :-) He's got powerful shoulders, and those count for allot in my book!

You should never use the word 'nice' when talking about a man Ruby! Makes me think of centre partings, polishing the car on Sundays and long flannelette nightgowns. I have this vision of a beautifully groomed Mr Ruby polishing the car in his nightie now. Oh dear.

Well ,my dating days are in the distant past here, but Ive had my moments.Boy lol were they memorable!!..I dont have a steroeotype man ,but I like `nice` men..funny word that one, always should be avoided really. But I love men who are polite and know how to look after and treat a woman.Mine all had their merits too Moo,then I met Mr Ruby an playtime was well and truly over, but its lasted 35 years,so that speaks volumes in itself!

Definately turned on By a Guy covered in Tractor Oil and that Kind of Stuff. Confidence is an absolute MUST. If the guy has on a Nice pair of jeans with a Greas - rag and a Cressi( K ) Oh excuse me I just had a Brain -Fart.....adjustable wrench. As I have been told Many times Cressik is a Brand Not a Device. If he has an Adjustable Wrench , and an Impressive Spud-Bar.....I'm there!!!!!!

For a man to be able to live with me, he needs to be a strong, confident person. I'm an alpha female, I want an alpha male. I'm completely attracted to the one I have now. It's not intimidating, because I know he loves me and I'm not scared of him. I know he can protect me, and that he will. I love knowing I have someone who knows who they are, asserts themself, and acts on his beliefs, regardless of what others say. He's true to himself, and true to me. I've had partners, that seemed to be weaker than me, or just not as confident, and it didn't work. It felt like they relied on me, for their manhood. I am not a man, if I can make a man feel like one, that's fantastic, but I shouldn't be the only reason. I'm not trying to say that they were weak or bad people, I was with them for a reason, but their attitudes about themselves and insecurities, change their dependancy in a relationship. I love my strong confident man.

I am not usually attracted to that sort of guy because they are usually also very arrogant, conceited, and tend to treat women poorly. I would rather have a more sensitive, best-friend kind of guy...like my husband.

Well yes, a powerful man appeals to me. His confidence would make me feel secure. I'd like my man to make me feel like I can trust my life to him.
