Could you imagine lifting the hood of your truck to see a pit bull eating away at the wires of your engine? VACAVILLE, Calif. -- A Vacaville man found a pit bull stuck in the engine of his truck and chewing through wires Tuesday morning, his family said. Walter Witthoeft had just woken up and went outside to put power steering fluid in his truck. When he popped the hood, he saw a pair of eyes, heard growling and then noticed a dog wiggling around in his engine. http://www.kcra.com/news/16180027/detail.html I would hate to be the owners of that pit bull as I think they will be held liable for the damage to the mans truck! Do you thinkg the owners should be liable for damages?

Now I have heard of cats getting up under the hood of a vehicle but never a dog, and a pit bull at that, they aren't a small dog. The owners should be responsible for any damages. In most states there are leash laws for dogs, and if the pit was under the hood, apparently not on any leash!

That would be pretty shocking. But I think I would be able to handle it. At least betther than I would if I was in South Florida. There, people lift up their hoods and find crocodiles doing the same thing. EEEK. at that point I would lose it.

That is a pretty scarry situation, but how did the dog get there anyway? A pit bull! above all! I would have been scarred out my wits. Do you think someone might have played a trick on that man. That seems pretty fishy to me. That needs thorough investing, and depends on the findings, the owners should be held accountable. Unfortunately, it is their dog and whatever damages has been done; they should be held responsible.

How did the pitbull went there? Maybe some people put the dog there for fun! I think the owners should be liable for the damages. They should be responsible to whatever their dog does. Have a nice day!
