BOSTON -- An East Boston woman whose apartment was burglarized recently says she's not sure what the thieves wanted more: her television and laptop or her pet pug Frankie.
What she does know, however, is that she wants her precious pooch back and is willing to pay the finder $1,000 reward for his return.

I wonder if the person who robbed the lady will try to call and return the pug for the $1000 reward! All the lady is asking for is her precious pug back and is willing to give the person who returns the dog $1000.
Would you offer a reward like this if your dog had been stolen?

dogs getting stolen isn't that rare believe it or not.....when i was a kid our neighbors house got robbed and they took all the elctronics and their siberian husky, well, the theives must have figured out quickly that the dog was high maitence and they dropped it in a parking lot tried to a pole. Well, some found it, called the cops and the cops reconized it from the tags ,linked it to the robbery, starting asking people in the neighborhood about seeing anyone with it and finally it lead them back to the thieves. the best part of the whole story is the idiots had recorded themselves palying with all the stolen stuff on the stolen video camera the police got back!

Insurance can replace the items? -But NO ONE can replace your "baby"/the dog! Good for her!! (The dog has to come first!-It has felings and is propbably missing her as much as she misses it!)
I feel that anyone who steals a dog should face felony kidnapping charges. It is SO traumatic for the animal AND the owner!

There is no doubt in my mind that this woman loved her dog.
Apparently that pet was her best friend, and she is paying what she can afford to get it back. It seems like she doesn't mind the reward at all, she just wants her gog back. Her dogs means more than money to her.
That poor lady, I hope that culprit would be considerate enough and gave up her dog.

I feel sorry for her! Your pets are like your children! I don't have a thousand dollars to offer as a reward though.
