have you ever noticed there are really so many kinds of laughs that it is hard to list them all.
we all know the adults that giggle like a baby,
we have heard some laughter when people laugh so hard that they chortle like a pig,
then there are the people laugh like a screaming banshee (witch)
There are people who laugh until they cry, even if the water doesn't come out of their eyes, their is the sobbing sound when they cannot get another laugh out.
There are people who snick a little giggle in here and there,
there are people who just smile but no sound comes out,
there are people who squeak like a mouse or creaking door,
there are people that have a full belly laugh that comes right from the belly and it said to be very healthy because it releases endorphins in the brain that make us feel good.
I am between a fast hahahaha, to a laugh to you sob kind of person,
What kind of laugher are you?
Describe your laugh, it was be interesting if you have on that is not on this list,
Do you know anyone with an unusual laugh?

I go from a chuckle into a full nice belly laughter that leaves me breathless sometimes.
One of my sisters, she starts and just have everyone else around her laughing even if you dont want to. Hers is an infectious laugh.
There's this co-worker she had once who used to ease herself everytime she laughed hard. she would just laugh and fart and the harder she laughed the more the farts came. That is the wierdest I've ever heard in the way of laughs. (lol)

hi winterose,
my laugh varies with the people i hang out with. hehehe... when im with the people thats close to me like family and long time friends and were talking about funny things i let out this really big laugh that i just cant stop. at one point i tried to mellow it down since my sister said i have a weird laugh. but i actually dont want to stop it. lol. its how i laugh, so sue me if its big right?! lol.. and i got her back when i caught her laughing loudly too. now she cant say my laugh is weird. haha.. a friend of mine actually said that its cute and another one said that its contagious. fine by me :) then there are times that i laugh so hard that i 'chrotle' as you put it. hahaha but i catch myself and control myself because i just dont want to chortle. lol.. and then theres that laughing so hard that tears fall off my eyes. those things i listed are the best kinds of laughs that i usually experience. then theres the mild laugh for acquaintanes and new formed friendship. coz im not exactly a 'very' sociable person and im still getting to know them. mild laughter is good at the beginning. lol

I have another funny story.
I'm cleaning the cabinets at my mother's Apt. you know i have to clear everything out that I must sell. So I have all my cleaning products on both counters - and my brother comes out to make something. So he drops the Palmolive dishwashing liquid and it goes POP. He's cursing telling me why didn't I move these things, yada yada, like an old nag; and I'm hysterical laughing, then I drop it onto the rug, I am laughin so hard, that I peed in my pants, literally. And he's standing there saying to his wife, she thinks that's funny, she really thinks that's funny. And I said yes, we were all so stressed, i needed a good laugh, and that helped that day. Finally when I got off the floor I moved everything into the living room area.

mine is kinda like the sound of a car turning over and not cranking. but with a comical jesture to it. I have been told that it can make you laugh just by hearing me laugh. But friends will tell you anything to keep from hurting your feelings LOL.

I have two laughs. One is a polite little titter when I do not find something very funny. Then I have a really big belly laugh, with an occasional embarrassing snort slipping out when I find something really funny.

I think I have always felt embarrassed about laughing and that is why I do not laugh all that much.

I would say mine is aloud childlike giggle most of the time and have been told my laugh is very contagious but not so loud and unusual that it is embarrassing. I had a friend who really did cackle and it grated after a while to all around. Ellie :D

Mine is just ordinary. I think it's pretty much the same as yours, but sometimes I would also bend my knees and hold my belly if I find things extremely funny. I've heard an unusual laugh in our local telly from time to time, it's a female TV star who laugh like a horse yawning and she's well known for this :)

wow that is quite interesting too, yawning like a horse, not sure if I would constantly have to listen to that laugh.

I used to laugh like a hyena, that was in my younger days. Now I could really use a good laugh.
I love reading Janet Evanovich books, because she really makes me laugh. It doesn't matter if I'm home or on the train reading her books. I highly recommend.
I had a good laugh last week, something funny my brother said. It was about the M&M commercial.
Here's how it goes. Blue M&M is sitting on couch with remote control watching TV when one of the Baldwin brothers (not sure which one) walks in and says hey Blue what's up? Blue says how did you get in, and Baldwin says door was open. So Blue says, let's do that again. He takes Baldwin to the door and pushes him out and locks the door. Runs to couch and Baldwin is knocking on door, and says hey Blue let me in, and Blue says "No Blue here".
The way my brother acted it out, had me roaring. It was so funny.
Enjoy

Hi I think I laugh for almost anything. When I was young, people would call me grinmeg, I would laugh so much. Sometimes I would be reading a jovial email or something real funny and I would be cackling to myself, that sometimes those around me, would ask what is so funny.
I have several kind of laughs. I am one who laughs until tears comes from from eyes, sometimes I have a loud laugh, other times a smirk kind of laugh.

I have a hearty laugh that can be heard a few houses away. I'm trying to have a softer laugh, but it usually doesn't work. There are times I'll giggle at a television show, but have been know to laugh so hard that I am crying.

Hmmm. I'm not sure if I have a distinctive laugh. I think I laugh differently in different situations.
My mom always laughed way too much and hard at the movies when I was a kid.
