How to say I'm Sorry?

In order to understand how to say I'm sorry and have it be an effective apology, we need to know what kind of statements to include when apologizing. How does one person make someone else understand that they truly are sorry?
It is very hard to ask apology to someone specially those who are close to us. Easy to think but it is hard to tell I'm Sorry for what i've done.
Did you felt difficult to say I'm sorry to your husband/wife, parents, brother/sister and friends?

I think the first step is actually feeling empathy and then remorse. Once these two emotions enter in it is far easier to say "I am very sorry for hurting you and understand how my actions / words caused you pain"

Ego is horrible thing sometimes isn't it. It is really difficult to see the other persons point of view and step outside of ones self interest to see how you might have hurt someone by your actions or thoughtless words.
I am having one of those days.

apology is not a crime,i dont see why not doing it when you are roung,i started apologise not long ago untill i married before i know it's good to apologize when you are at fult.show you really mean it your face shows too Just stay cam and say AM VERY SORRY it's easy but you most mean it.

Being sorry and expressing that effectively is one of the hardest things we have to do. Most of the time pride and stubbornness get in the way. Many people say it and dont really mean it. They say it just to get a situation out of the way, the next day they are right back doing the same old things. Sorry must be from the heart and a learning experience.
