money laundry

I know what you mean we have found a fiver before when doing the laundry. Mostly it is just pennies. When we are really stuck for cash we hunt all over the house for pennies in clothes and also down the couch. It is amazing what you can find. However you also then have to take lots of change to the shops which can be embarrassing.

now a days you need every penny you canget, just to put it in your gas tank! I would have to say the most i found in the laundry would be a $100 dollar bill, her my husband didn't know he lost it and i sure wasn't going to tell him....lol

I have found money while doing laundry. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the exact amounts. The worst part is that sometimes I found them after I have washed the clothes. Talk about laundering money. So I would have wet paper bills, and I would put them out to dry. Now, I started to get into the habit of checking all pockets before I threw clothes in the washer. At least this will prevent me from getting wet money.

I don't know if I've ever found that much doing laundry,but I know change collects in the dryer. I've found a bunch in there. I've found like 15 bucks before in pants pockets or dryer. Sometimes I will purposely leave money in coat pockets so I can find it at a later date and be happy.

I love finding money in pockets when i do laundry. Even if it is just change, it is nice to know you have more than you thought you did!! I think the most I have ever found is about $20. Another good place to look is my purse - I don't always put the money in my wallet and then when i clean out my mary poppins bag of a purse i find all kinds of surprises!

I found a twenty once but it turned out to be mine. I used to tell my kids to be sure to empty their pockets before putting their clothes in the hamper because, if I found money in the washer or dryer, it was mine. Unfortunately for me, they chose to listen to me on that one.

It is funny you mentioned finding a $5 dollar bill in your laundy I found a $5 bill in my dryer this morning. I am not sure whos it is my husband and my son both had a pair of jeans in their neihter one of them has said anything about missing $5 so I think I will keep it.

when i washed my clothes before i always found money inside my pocket, most bill i found was 100 pesos( $2.3) sometimes when i'm on hurry i didn't checked my clothes after drying when i checked the pocket, OMG i washed also my money. Now, i am not the one who washed my clothes but before i will send it to the laundry i will check the pocket if i forgot some money inside.

I found a 20 dollar bill but..i dont think it counts as a find because it was in my own jeans. other than that nickels quarters dimes and the like.

180$....it will never happen again... :) My boyfriend empties his pockets when he takes off his clothes, and one thing that is always in the same spot, is our money.
