I stopped drinking soft drinks a couple of years ago. There was a time when I drank a couple a day. A friend got me hooked on diet Pepsi for a while. Nowadays it's just water, tea, or naturally flavored mineral water for me.

It varies from week to week. Last week I drank a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi in about 3 days. This week I am not drinking any soda at all. Have Crystal Light in here with me tonight and also a bottle of water. I use to drink alot of regular soda and packed on a few pounds. The scale scared me so I cut way back and the weight dropped off. I try to load up on water since it's much healthier.

I've cut back to one a day. I refuse to give it up entirely because I'm not going to deny myself completely. It would just tempt me to cheat. I drink about 10 8oz. glases of water a day, so I know I get enough of that. For every soda I drink, I like to drink two times more water than what the soda was.

I drink soda on a very rare occasion...and that is only recently. I actually went about 6 months with none at all. I used to drink 2-3 a day. Now, I drink water instead.

I know I drink a lot more than I should. When I'm at school, I usually don't drink as much as I do when I am home. When I am at school, I drink a lot of different things, water, soda, gatorade, sometimes some juices. When I am home, I don't have access to a lot of things so I just end up drinking whatever I can get ahold of. And usually that tends to be soda. However I am trying to cut back at home and start drinking other things.

I know! That's definitely my problem, and the fact that soda is loaded with caffeine. I need it, and I really hate that I need it too.

12packs of soda every three days?? wow. that's too much jill! i don't make it a habit to drink soda because i don't want the calories! i try to stay away from it. the only time i drink soda is when i'm in fastfood chains or when there's no available clean drinking water (like when i was working as a community organizer and we went to this remote place where the water they drink is from a dug up well, i couldn't drink the water because even if i close my eyes, i still can see those small whitish stuff floating in it. ^.^ so i had no choice but buy and drink soda.)

Wow, that is a lot of sodas. I don't drink many any more but I used to at one time in my life. I used to drink diet coke and I used to drink about 2 or 3 a day and I thought that was too much. But you are drinking about 4 a day. That is a lot.
The reason I quit drinking so much of it is because I read an article about the aspertain in it being so bad for me and I had so many of the symptons of aspertain overdose that it really scared me. Now I only drink regular coke and since it has sugar in it, it has a lot of calories and since I am dieting I don;t want all those calories, so I have really cut back and I now drink water instead. It took some getting used to, drinking water, but now I have no problem with it. So now I may have one or two cans of coke, per week. And some of the symptons I had are gone now and I feel better for not drinking the diet cokes.

One is ringing in my ears. Another is tiredness and weakness, fatigue basically. Another is headaches. Blurred vision. Strong urine. Low blood pressure. Poor circulation of blood. Cramps in feet and legs. Cold feet. General tiredness and fatigue, basically. There are more but I can't think of them right now, as it has been a few months since I read about it.

Nah, I am not a soda kind of person.
I seldom drink soda. Usually I drink it only if it comes in a fast food set meal.
I rather drink water, coffee and tea.

I am what you can say addicted to soda. Guilty as charged. I can't last a day without one (i like to think that). I drink soda after every meal and every once in a while if I feel thirsty. I don't know if its psychological but water is not enough to quench my thirst.

I love drinking soda before when I was in high school. But after I went to college, I gained the facts about soda through health lesson. From that on, I don't drink soda less than before. I do love soda but don't drink it much because drinking soda can only make you unhealthy. I want my body healthy, so I control the amount of soda intake.
