What do you like Better Cats or Dogs and Why?

Well I have both cats and dogs for pets but I think i have to say dogs. I love cats too but my dogs have a much better personality and are so excited when i come home. My cats dont seem to care when I get home and are not as affectionate as my dogs.

I like cats so much better. I think partly because if I'm gone all day, I know my cats are fine. But I don't live where I can tie my dog outside, if I'm going to be gone all day. So day trips take a lot of extra time, trying to find some place to leave our dog. The dog is lots of fun. For me, he is just more work.

I like dogs better. They are loyal, down to earth, and protective. Cats are strange creatures. I don't like the fact that they have those razor sharp claws and spring bodies, abling them to climb anywhere. I don't like them circling my feet either or crawling up behind me on a couch or chair whil I am sitting down. There are very few cats I trust, as I am afraid they will scratch at me. Strange enough I don't fear dogs too much, even though they are so much bigger. Dogs appear more firendly for the most part, cats just seem too curious and "hoity toity" for me.

i prefer Dogs. Cats i could tolerate but i rather have a dog though. they are loyal and protect you. and u could always play with them, like play ball, wrestle and take it for walks.

i like cats better. for a few reasons. they are not too loud, they dont bark, they are really loving, they like to cuddle, they listen to you, they know when you're sad, they're funny. so much more i can list. i know a lot of the things i listed are also describing dogs but i just like cats better. i think dogs are ok though.

I love cats more than dogs, even they are rotten than dogs.I can say that I borrowed something of their behavior for my own

I can't choose. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and I love them all.

i like both but i like dogs better than cats dogs always looks happy and they will play with us if we want to.dogs can always put me in a good mood they also can easily be teached stuff cats are so lazy..sleeping almost all the time. not really fun to have.

Dogs, definitely dogs...i'm a dog person. I always think that a dog eyes' could speak.

Cats, but only because I'm very afraid of dogs. Weirder is once when I tried to pet a small dog, it jumped back as I was about to.

That's hard to say. I love them both and which one I like best varies from day to day. Most days I would answer cats. Cats are cleaner and easier to care for. They don't require constant attention. They are more independent and decide when they want to be petted and when they don't want to be. Also they have those wonderful purrs that lul you to sleep at night. Dogs are also wonderful, in their own way. They are loyal and ready to love you unconditionally. To a dog you are always somone special. Dogs are also protective. Tonight there is a murderer loose in my community and my doberman is a terrific watch dog. I think tonight, I like dogs best.

Cats remind me to much of women. You can never tell if they are happy or not and one second they might be rubbing against your leg and the next they are biting and scratching at you. Although I do love women, I definently dont need pets that act like them.

Cats are my favorite. Dogs can be too big and I hate when they lick you all over with all that nasty saliva, yuck!
