I was driving down the country road and looked up and saw this little bird teasing a hawk today. It was the funniest sight. The hawk was huge compared to this bird but the little bird would fly up to the hawk and it looked like it was pecking at it then the hawk would turn a bit and back the little bird would go. I know I should have been paying attention to the road more but it was really hard not to watch because it was just the funniest site to see. The big bird could have easily hurt the little bird but it didn't. Just had to share a silly sight.

King Birds are about the size of an American Robin. When they have eggs in the nest or young fledglings they will chase hawks and crows away to keep their nest safe from these Predators. The King Bird will fly up above the slower flying Crow or Hawk and then dive down and peck the larger bird on the head. The larger birds just hate this, and will fly away as quickly as they can. The small birds are more agile in flight and have no fear of the larger birds whatsoever!
