Peanut butter revisited...

My husband likes creamy my older son likes crunchy, my younger son is highly allergic and the only time i eat it is once in awhile and i'll mix karo syrup with creamy and make a sandwich. And i usually buy Great value from walmart.

Peanut butter is meant to be smooth, not riddled with nuts! If I'm biting into a nut, I want to see where it's coming from! I can't imagine being all happy with eating my peanut butter and pickle sandwich and them chomp! down onto a peanut. I'm not overweight, but I always buy reduced fat peanut butter. Maybe it's pointless, but I feel less decadent when I eat it. Can you imagine I buy reduced fat ice cream? Really, what's the point? It's ice cream, not a daily food. If you're going to indulge, indulge!

Both! When I'm putting it on toast or a sandwich with jelly, I like crunchy. If I'm cooking with it or putting it in ice cream, creamy is best. I like the brand names better, but not for the price difference. I buy the regular old WalMart brand and it's fine for me, and Tom doesn't complain (unless I run out completely!).

I prefer creamy. We usually either make our own or get some from one of the health food stores that has a grinder so that it's fresh. The only name brand I can remember buying is Smuckers (I think?) - it's a natural peanut butter that comes in a glass jar.

I like the creamy peanut butter. My favourite brand is Kraft. It's my favourite source of protein - when I'm not nursing I eat it every day - preferably with strawberry jam.

I like creamy peanut butter. I always buy Peter Pan peanut butter, but when I am at my brothers house they have JIF and I am starting to like it too.

I am a creamy lover. I don't like bits of nuts in my sandwich. My favorite used to be Peter Pan. But since the recall we have gotten to like JIF.I think we will stick with it.

I like them both but I usually prefer the creamy. I will only buy Jiff peanut butter the other brands taste funny. I accidentally grabbed low fat peanut butter once and oh my goodness it was gross! Store brands are awful and Skippy has a funny flavor to it.

I prefer crunchy most of the time. When my son was living with me he liked creamy so that is what I usually bought. Sometimes I just grab whatever peanut butter and dont really notice whether it is creamy or crunchy. I do like jiff and it is probably my favorite.

I love creamy and crunchy both! But, I remember when I was pregnant, I couldn't handle the creamy...something about the texture probably. So many people I know like JIF, but it isn't one I like at all. I like the Great Value brand from Walmart! :) When I get really ambitious, I make some fresh in the food processor.
