Are you ready for the reruns? It seems we just got back to normal TV with new episodes after the writer's strike and here we are again in rerun season! Are you ready? Will you watch them? Or will you be renting movies from Blockbuster and/or Netflix? We will be watching movies from Netflix at my house :) I love it! but I'm also ready for next seasons and new episodes of my favorite shows!

Karen the one show I missed several episodes of was ER its also a show that, you cannot watch on line. But other than that yep I have a movie list and lets not for get Army Wives starts June 8th as does Big Brother soon :))) Those 2 shows will keep me entertained. I wonder when Big love comes back?

I missed all of ER, I guess we watched the other network at that timezone. That will be one show I will be looking forward to this summer! I'm also going to check out Army Wives!

Oh no!!! This is the worst ever! I'll just catch up with other shows and movies I've missed before. Rerun season is actually not that bad as long as the next season will be very nice haha. But seriously, I'll be busy doing other things as well (like earning money) so missing out on my favorite shows won't be such a bummer for me. What's Netflix? Is it a store similar to Blockbuster? Never heard of it...

I know just what you mean. I am rerunned out. Especially since I saw most of them over and over during the strike. There are a few newer shows that I will watch this summer..."Last Comic Standing", "Big Brother", and I will try "Swingtown". We have a Netflix account, but save the movies until the weekend, since hubby works until about 9 pm. I look at the reruns as a way for me to work on my writing, be on the computer, or to be outside playing in the yard or the pool. I too am eagerly awaiting several shows in the fall. Great topic.

We are looking forward to Last Comic Standing here too. It's pretty funny. Sounds like you have a full schedule! I've been behind in my writing here also. I've gotta get with the system!

You know, I'm actually not minding the reruns. This past year I didn't watch hardly any shows besides things like Dirty Jobs and Deadliest Catch. I can now catch up on CSI: Miami and House to name a few. Also, I have seen a lot of new programming coming up for the summer. That ought to be fun. I don't plan on watching trash like CBS' Swingtown, but something else surely is out there better than that.

I'm ready for next season. I'm mad that the stupid writer's strike went on for so long. I feel like I got jipped on a lot of good shows. I'm also mad the the strike basically caused a lot of shows to get cancelled. I am looking forward to ABC bringing back Pushing Daisies next season, though, so I guess I will forgive ABC for cancelling Men in Trees. I rent movies from Netflix anyway, so yeah I will be watching movies. I don't mind watching reruns every once in a while, so I will probably watch some of those too. There are some shows starting up this summer that I'm looking forward to, like Swingtown. I'm excited about that one.

With all the nice weather, I don't mind that we're into reruns. It means I can spend more time outside instead of being inside glued to the tv! LOL We'll probably do a little of both - watch the reruns and rent the occasional movie. I am looking forward to the new episodes in the fall though.

I do like the fact that we will have several more hours of light! I love the outdoors and being outdoors. This will give me more sunshine to enjoy too!

I'm ready for summer television, as Monk and Psych will be on Friday Nights. Law & Order: Criminal Intent will be on Sunday Night. There aren't a lot of shows, but there are plenty for me. I plan to view movies from Blockbuster, as there are many movies that I'm planning to see this summer.

i'm not too worried about reruns. we don't watch as much tv in the summer. plus there are summer series i like. big brother will be coming back in july. burn notice is really great and it will come back soon. plus american gladiators is back. and there is a new show starting that i can't quite remember the name but the woman is a witness protection agent. we'll probably rent some movies too.

We have come to accept that they are an undeniable reality of summer television. David and I do not watch my television in the summer anyway so it is less aggravating for us than some. One thing we have done to alleviate the boredom factor is watch shows that run at the same time our favorites were on. That way the re-runs are new for us...and if we like the program we can watch that program's re-runs next year. It does reduce the boredom factor of watching what we've seen before...and that we rarely do. Raia

I don't think I would be too happy watching reruns over and over again. We will do as you are doing and also dip deeper into Netflix for the summer!

Well I don't really like watching reruns. But I am going to be busy watching other shows like So You think you can Dance and stuff. So I don't have to worry about what I am going to be watching. And then I'll be picking up movies from the library. But I don't think I'll be watching to much reruns. I mean if it's one of my favorite episodes from a show then I'll probably watch it.

Then i have seen a few clips of what i call test shows. That will also be in june and july. Then today I was checking out the tv guide and they have a review of the new shows that will be coming this fall and there are 18 new shows for all three stations abc, cbs, and nbc. Check it out when you get a chance tv guide.com

Frustrating, isn't it? And I'm still waiting for 24 to start. We have some conflicts with the schedule of some shows so we'll catch up on some of the ones we missed during the regular season by watching reruns. And probably watch more movies on the movie channels.

I hate watching reruns. That seems to be the only thing on these days, reruns. I am sick of them and I am working mostly on the computer these days because I don't want to watch all of the reruns again and again. What I hate the most is the same show will be on different stations at different times of the day. Like I just watched that show and an hour later the same one is on again, just on another channel. I find it very frustrating.

I will be watching alot of the new shows that come on in the summer like Army Wives, So You Think You Can Dance, Nashville Star, Americas Got Talent and then I will watch reruns of shows I have not seen like Without a Trace I didn't watch because it was on the same time as ER so I will probaly watch those.

I cant beleive we had like 5 new episodes to watch and now we are watching reruns. I dont get it. I gess maybe they already had contracts for the summer replacements before the strike. That's the only thing I can figure. i'm not sure what I'm going to watch this summer.

I am actually thrilled for the reruns. I need a break from the TV for a while! I love too many shows and, now it is widdled down to only a hand full of shows for the summer. So, I am happy to have the break. I won't watch the reruns. I tend to get bored with reruns unless it is a favorite episode of a comedy or something. But, I will just enjoy Big Brother 10 when it starts in July, So You Think You Can Dance, The Mole and what few other shows there are during the summer, for me to watch!

The writer's strike really threw me off from what I what used to. When the newer episodes started I had forgotten to watch them because I had gone so long without watching my scheduled shows. It was a weird time for a lot of people. I'm still waiting for Heroes and Pushing Daises to come back. I miss them. Netflix is really big in this house and that's all everybody's been watching since the season finales have aired.

Is Pushing Daisies coming back? I thought I had heard it was canceled? My husband liked that one but I didn't care for it. I love Netflix! My hub and I have a war going to see who gets their pick up to the top of the Queue!
