I am not a vegetarian, I like every kind of food. For vegetarians, they think eating meat and fish are not healthy for their body, and they think only eating vegetable is a healthy way for their body. I think this is not right. If you take some health lessons in middle, high school, or college, you will know eat a balance of 5 group food is the healthy way for your body. within 5 group of food, meat and fish are included. So, eating meat and fish are also important for keeping our body healthy. I will not be a vegetarian, never ever. Are you a vegetarian? If so, you may have something to say about. I may be wrong, so share your thought, and the truth about being a vegetarian.

Being a vegetarian(though not a strict one) has its own advantages. The unnecessary and often dangerous fat build up in the body can best be minimized by devouring vegetables and fruits in plenty.Animal fat is apt to create metabolic problems for quite many people.

Yes, I am pure vegetarion & I am proud of that. If you will ever know all the health benefits of it you will also agree me. Researach has shown vegetarions to suffer less heart disease, hypertention, & many other diseases. Vagetarions are more fitter than meat eaters. Most successful world athletes are vegetarions. It is proved, Meat contains absolutely nothing, no proteins, no vitamins, no minerals, also you don't know which animal you are eating. I can write much more about this topic, but please change the way you think about food, experiment & try meat -free dishes in your diet. Vegetarianism is fastest growing trend in the developed world.

The truth is most people do not NEED to eat meat to be healthy. As for the 5 food groups... it's called meat and milk propaganda. I'm sure you can find information on it if you are so inclined.
I have studied nutrition in college for 5 years now, and what you are taught about the food groups in middle and high school is a waste of time. That is not what defines health.
There is so much information about vegetarianism out there and honestly I don't have the patience to write it all out right now lol... my point is just that animal products are not necessary (for most people) to be healthy, and in fact, can cause greater deterioration to health in many cases.
Oh yeah, and I'm a vegan.

Although I have a lot of respect for the vegetarians out there, I would not have the personality and the persistence to be one.. I just like eating meat too much. Sometimes I even feel ashamed when I eat a lot of meat..
But I fully support the vegetarians!
So if you are one, respect and keep on!!

Humans didn't get to the top of the food chain by eating lettuce and tofu. Everyone should eat meat.

There is no logic behind this statement at all. Everyone should eat meat... because? We are already at the top of the food chain, what does eating meat do? Keep us there? If we stopped eating meat, would other animals start eating us? No.

no, i'm not actually... i eat every kind of food too as long as it is edible... i agree with you... our body has to have a balanced diet and meat is included in it... without any meat, there will be something missing from our body... PROTEIN... and we have to make it up by eating something else... so me too won't become a vegetarian... take care and have a nice day...

I'm a vegetarian, but only because I really don't like eating meat. I can't handle the thought of eating an animal. I get my protien from eating cheese and peanut butter. I take a multi-vitamin to make sure I'm getting all the vitamins I need. I don't think not eating meat is any healthier then eating it. I still have high cholesterol that I take medicine for. I eat lots of veggies and fruit.

I am not a vegetarian. I think vegetable are very good for health, but meat and seafood are also needed. Only vegetable can't support all the nutrition that our body needed.
I know the reason for some vegetarian guys is because they hold faith.
I enjoy delicious food, so I will not be a vegetarian.

Yep..M a vegetarian
Basically m a veggie cz of my religion tho m an atheist.
Anyhow..I do feel its a cruelty towards animals..Killin em for ur food.
I completely support the PETA for their work in this field.
I agree that Non-VEg food does have many vital nutrients but hey..Even Veg stuff has that.So then y kill those poor animals who cant even voice out their miseries.
I ve heard somethin like - If some Non-Veg person wud ever witness some animal being butchered in the slaughter house..That person wud get terrified of that scene to such an extent tht he wont ever again be able to eat Non-Veg again.
Dunno hw true it is..But watever it is..M aginst cruelty to animals

Though I am not a vegetarian, I do enjoy cooking vegetarian recipes from time to time. My kids actually enjoy vegetarian food because they don't feel so sluggish like they do when eating meats. If I weren't so addicted to steaks, I'd make the switch :)

I just recently became a vegetarian and it was a combination of reasons for me. I don't think someone is evil if they eat meat. I still crave it sometimes. I just feel that it's wrong of me to eat an animal that I couldn't possibly bring myself to slaughter. If it wasn't done for me I would have to stop eating meat, so why not start now?

I am not a vegetarian, but my sister is. I love a lot of her vegetarian recipes, and though I do eat meat, I really don't eat a lot of it. My husband is a fantastic cook, and he cooks vegetarian food for us atleast a couple of times a week.

I am also not a vegetarian. I think the the theory that eating meat and fish are not healthy can't hold water because lack of scientific evidence. People should keep balance in eating between meat and vegetables because we need to absorb the nutrition from both of them. Sometimes I will be a vegetarian because there are several important days in our country.

I have tried vegetarianism before it only seems to last about a month with me. i start craving meat like crazy.
i do sometimes have meatless days though. maybe if i phased out meat gradually I wouldn't miss it as much.

I was at a company lunch once, buffet style. My friend and I were together and I was looking over all the delicious-looking vegetables. I said to her, "I'd be a vegetarian if it weren't for the fact that I like meat so much."
A guy standing behind me started laughing his head off. I guess it would sound funny, but I was serious! If I don't eat meat every day, I start to feel weak, even if I eat a lot of protein in other ways such as eggs and nuts.
I knew one vegetarian who thought she was better than everyone else, until I reminded her that she fed her cats food made with meat and fish, AND she wore leather shoes! It brought her down a few notches and she stayed clear of me from then on.

I'm not a vegetarians.
Some Buddhist didn't eat meat and fish,
not because of health problem,
but because of some Buddhist rules.
