I don't usually wake grumpy in the morning, most of the time I wake up I feel ready for the day. It is surprising considering sometimes I may be up twice during the night to feed the baby. However unfortunately most of my household are like Oscar the grouch in the morning. My partner is the worst, he always wakes up grumpy and he takes a long time to get out of bed. He hits the snooze button on the alarm like 5 times. My 3 year old also wakes up a little grumpy too. My eldest isn't too bad, she just takes a while to wake up. My baby she is like me, ready to start the day when she wakes up, she has a beautiful smile in the mornings, I love it. So tell me are you an Oscar the Grouch in the morning, or is someone else in your household take out this title, lol?

I am! For definate, I am one that just likes to be left alone in a morning and not have happy chatting like it is the middle of the day and be all happy happy. My hubby is so jolly in the morning, he sometimes talks to me ten to the dozen and I just hear the occasional word and grunt at him. I think they are all getting the idea though that mum of the house just is not a lark in a morning and they mainly just leave me to grump quietly in the kitchen with my coffee.

Hello Oscar, that is funny, good thing your family knows to give you time to wake up in the mornings. Coffee sure does help start your day and get you buzzing and ready. You could try sleeping on the other side of the bed, lol.

i think i am guilty to be called as one. i really have a hard time starting my day in the morning. it is hard to wake me up, and when i am already awake, i don't feel like going out of bed that easy. i love to sleep and so i have to push my alarm thrice before going out of the bed.

I definitely am the grouch in the morning. My daughter can be, too. My husband and both of my boys are generally ready to go! One especially...he is at 50 mph before his feet even hit the floor. He always has been that way.

Occassionally I am grumpy. Mostly when woken by the phone. I hate telephones at the best of times. They always seem to interupt whatever I am doing at the time.
