I don't have Servant maid at home.. We will take care of our house work like cleaning, washing and other works at our home. In our flats, we have around 25 Flats, out of which we have more of the flats, they have servant maid at home.. But I will not have the practise of having the servant maid at our home, from my childhood days onwards.. In my childhood days, we use to wash our cloths by ourself each other.. We use to wash our household vessels ourself.. we clean our house by ourself, the family members.. What about you, do you have a servant maid at your home to clean your household vessels, to wash your cloths, clean your house, keep the house clean..? Post your comments..

I do have a maid who helps me out with the top jobs. When I was growing up, we all did it on our own and we had chores that we took turns in doing. And it wasn't a problem then. But now I live with my husband and kids (7.5 years old and 18 months) and I also work and do not have the time to do everything alone. I tried but it was very difficult. So, I now have a maid to help me out. My 7.5 year old son has chores to do at home and slowly I plan to graduate to a level where we are not dependant on a maid....but that will take a few years till the little one is older and independant.

We don't have servant at home but back in my parents house on my home country they got two servants and one driver to serve my parents. Practically speaking, my parents don't have to do lots since there are someone who can help them doing things. Their servants getting their beds done, washing clothes, cooking foods and of course cleaning up the house. I know it's great but it's just not happening here in Australia for majority of households. My wife thinking to have servants but I said to her it's not possible as we just live in the small townhouse anyway.

i used to have a servant maid at home back in my home country when i am still a child... but as i grow older, my parents get rid of the maid as it is just very inconvenient when all of us have to go out overseas and we can't leave the maid at home by herself for too long... also, we have maid who stole our stuffs... and my mum also have to think of what to give her to eat everyday... it is just too much hassle... so they decided that it is better not to have maid and we do the chores together... we share the chores so they become much lighter... now i live in australia and there is no way that i can have a maid here as i can't afford to pay the wage... human labor is very expensive here... take care and have a nice day...

No I am too poor to have a maid.....oh wait I am the maid lol. We do all our housework ourselves although at this time of the year it sure would help to have some help as we are canning a lot and the kitchen is always in a mess. Of course I would love to have someone come in once a week to help with the household chores but we cannot afford to do so.

well the name of servent or maid is demeaning and not a very nice word to call someone who comes to help take care of ur family, but no i would not let a helper come in to just clean while i am young and capable of taking care of myself, if i was older and needed help with daily living needs then yes i would call an agency and make sure they did back ground checks before i hired a helper

I had someone come and stay with me for a few weeks to help clean and take care of my baby and my home after I had been in a bad car accident and sprained my neck, shoulder and knee, with 2 broken ribs. Other than that, I have always done those things myself. My mother had a maid who came in once a week to clean, but she was about 75 years old and needed the help. We have always cleaned our own houses.

Yes, that's me! I do the washing, ironing, cleaning, plus the cooking! Paying somebody to clean can be expensive here in Austria, so few people do it. And if they do, chances are that they will get somebody illegally.

Keeping maids to help in domestic chore is common in the families where both the parents work. The crimes by maids on their employer is growing rapidly and one should be extremely careful while appointing maids who are strangers.

we have a maid since i got from college. i always got busy that i have no time doing household chores. my mom is already 61 years old and she doesn't have any company when i get to work. i urge her to take a maid so that there is someone who can accompany her when im at work.

Yes, we have one in my granny's house to do the chores like wash dishes, sometimes cook, clean our house and etc..., we are just fortunate that our maid is good and can be trusted.

I also do not trust servant maid.I have seen many fraud cases in my friends flat. One of my friend had one maid he used to come for cleaning ,washing and some house works.he was coming from last four month .he had idea of everything in his flat.one night when everybody was sleeping he came and took everything from flat. we en quired after that but nothing happened we did FIR as well but that person didn't accepted in front of police.so i don't suggest to anyone to have a stranger servant maid.
