I'm just asking for peoples' opinions on stores like Aeropostale, Hollister, and Abercrombie that are popular at my school and all, yet in reality you're just making yourself a walking billboard.

I would prefer american eagle for two reasons;
1 they are cheap and they are of the same high quality that of abercrombie
2 they accept paypal and they also sometimes ship free

American Eagle all the way. I work there and they support so many good causes!!! Every once in a while we actually do bowling nights with needy children!! Yay for us! And the clothes are made in good quality and at decent prices compared to other clothing stores. Jeans start at 19.50 people.

I think they are perfectly fine for the younguns. When I see a gal in her late 40 early 50 going in and buying their stuff for herself it's kind of sad and pathetic.
How many 50 year old ladies do you really ever see on a surfboard?

i personally hate those type of stores. everything is way over priced, not that cute (my opinion), and most likely made oversees. why pay so much money for those jeans? if you save your money you could buy your own sewing machine (you can get a decent one for around $100), and supplies to make your own, custom designed clothing.
then when everyone asks you where you got your stuff, you can say that YOU made it, not some big rich corporation.

I think it's really ridiculous that kids are spending hundreds of dollars on just a few items, when they could shop a little cheaper and use that money for something so much better. I detest those shops, you're not really paying for the quality, you're paying for the name!
Honestly I've found great clothes at places like Goodwill. Walmart is always cool too. You know I doubt that people are going to look down on me because my jeans cost five bucks instead of sixty, you know?
