I was looking at a cute video of little boys and naturally went on to the next video and kept watching... I was shocked at what parents think is cute! Swearing by mistake is sometime funny when a child does it but .. well see what you think.. I just don't think it's funny! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fs2MQKThDCI&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qT8hnHoOeSM&feature=related

And then he would have called children's services or whatever and reported you. Sigh... In the words of some comedian I saw on TV a couple weeks ago but can't remember his name... "You can't even choke your own kids, anymore." (He was riffing on child discipline, or lack thereof...)

I don't think either one of those videos was funny. I wouldn't post something like that.

i never think that swearing is cute and as a child, my parents will punish me if they heard me swearing or use bad words... they will put chilli in my mouth to make me remember that i am not allowed to use those words ever... so it amazed me when parents think that swearing is cute... there is no wonder that children and teenagers nowadays behave and speak in the way they do... take care and have a nice day...

Well I can't watch videos they take to long to load, but I can imagine what is on them. I don't cuss and do not let children cuss around me. I know a little girl that comes to her grannies every 2 weeks. She cusses like a sailor!! They don't let her, but she is allowed to at home and probably egged on my the other family members. She called her aunt a B the other day and them just laughed her head off!! I think it is just sick that they would allow her to say such things!

The first one is old, it's been around the net for a long time and I agree it's quite disturbing. The second one, it isn't fair to put the blame on the parents for that one, it was an older cousin (read the description on the top right hand corner under the YouTube poster's name - the first few words are "My Little Cousin") The parents in the second one probably had no clue what had happened until after it happened. The blame lies with the older cousin. However, I agree it is disturbing to see that our youth are being taught to do these things.

None of those videos were funny. The kids know no better....but what were the adults thinking????? And the man in the second one (I assume it's the boy's dad)...he was asking the boy to say it again and again to the camera as if it was something funny. There recently was an incident in our apartment complex where 13 year old boys swear and a 6 year old picked up the word and used it on my 8 year old son. When my son complained to the boy's mother, he got blamed for teaching her son such words. We mothers then had a discussion about the kids using such language and I couldn't believe my ears when most of the mothers jutified it by saying that most young people speak that way and we have to accept it!!! I mean..who is the adult here setting an example? The kids do it once and are allowed to do it...they think it's okay! I made it very clear to my son that if I heard him repeating these words anywhere, he would get a thrashing in public!

That is really disturbing. Our kids would have their mouths washed with soap if they talked like that. Why in the world would someone encourage their kid to talk like that.

Thats sad. I don't think it is cute at all. They learn these things from the people they hang around with and the parents probably aren't around or don't even know where they are. Its disguising how some parents are.

I lost count how many times the kid in the first video swore. And with the second video, I can't believe the man behind the camera even encouraged the child to repeat the words!Welcome to the new age of raising kids the shocking way! Both videos are not even a bit funny. And I don't understand why someone will even share these videos for everyone to see. As if it's something they are so proud of.

Absolutely disgusting! You can't blame the children, though, because they learn it from their parents. Some people can't talk at all without saying the F-word. It's more than talk, though. It's the hateful attitude, the anger, that is most disturbing with most of them. What a shame.

This isnt funny at all. Parents should know what to teach children and what to warn them against. Even if you as a parent were brought up that way dont let your kids grow the way you grew up, atleast make a change to their lives so they can be responsible adults and they will thank you in later days.

I agree I don't think it is cute when kids swear. It does not make me think highly of the child or the parents.

I agree. Its not cute or funny and not fair to the kids to get this habit and then later get punished for the parents mistakes. Bad habits are hard to break

Mom I cannot believe that people encourage their kids to talk like that and you cannot blame the kids - especially not on the second clip - he is positively being encouraged to keep repeating that , he will think it is a normal way of speaking! My son would never see the light of day til he was in his thirties! I know my son at 14 swears with his friends , most kids do but he knows he doesn't swear around children or adults and if he is anywhere where he could be overheard or casue any offence - if I ever catch or hear of him doing that he would be in big trouble! xxx

It is no wonder that crime is growing at alarming rates and children have no concept of the notion of respect. Why any adult, but especially a parent would encourage or endorse such behaviour is beyond me. What is the world coming to??

I agree they aren't funny at all. I also agree the first one is disturbing. It represents the lack of discipline that todays kids have. However, the second one is one of those situations that some of us parents can think is cute, because your child learned something new........as long as you correct that child and in the end they know that what their saying is not to be said. I don't think I would of put it on youtube though. I'm sure it caught the parents off guard when he first said it and it wasn't their fault, but I don't think it was appropriate to post it.

I watched them both and I think they are quite alarming. I would never let a child in my care talk to anyone that way. The first one is especially horrible. Children should be taught to talk to adults (or anyone for that matter) with respect.

I cannot seem to open the video maybe because of my connection. Too bad I cannot comment anything because I did not see anything. Anyways, I think the kids nowadays are not that disciplined anymore just like in the old times, what's with the age of computer that hooks up kids and keeps them away from books and character building.
