My weekend was totally different from the last few. My daughter and her family are moving from one house to the other and I had my grandchildren for a few hours both Saturday and Sunday. We had a blast. The kids are 7 and 4 and they were amazing. We had a hot dog roast, a BBQ, bike riding, I used my scooter and they regarded me as bike riding with them. We did a bit of fishing snd just hanging out. I am not able to lift and move stuff but it was helpful for me to have the kids and I loved it. I was feeling really well and it all worked out. This is Monday and I missed them so I went back to see them again today. It was a fabulous weekend. What did you do?

My weekend was fun and really interesting. Me and my family went out both saturday and sunday and ate out and strolled around malls. That was usually our routine during weekends. However, it got interested as I had my final interview in one of the companies I applied for. I made it but I declined the offer last night. Tough call.

Oh why did you decline, change of heart? Still it's good to know you made it. Glad your weekend was good. Nothing beats good family. +

Thanks. I'm glad I have my family. I had to decline the offer though. Less than half of what I was earning before and incomplete contract. Plus, they only gave me like 5 minutes to think or the offer would lapse. Not a good deal.

Yes I know and I respect you very much for caring for your parents. They are so lucky to have you. Loving someone has nothing to do with the fact that being a caregiver can sometimes be a very difficult chore. There are many days I can barely care for myself and here I am being caregiver for my brother in law. I know what's it's all about.

That sounds like the time my daughter and her husband moved and we kept their three kids. It was supposed to be about 10 days but it stretched into a month. I was about to climb the walls at the end of it. Right now we have just been sitting around the house cause it is really too hot to do much.

hi grandma.
it's great to know that you had fun with your grandchildren. we had an extended weekend here in the philippines. a holiday that landed on wednesday this week was moved to monday so families can spend more time together.
well, i spent some time for myself and with my daughter as well. i spent saturday watching 4 movies and it was lots of fun. the movie marathon was great, i watched "ghostrider", "fantastic four:rise of the silver surfer", "daredevil", and "elektra". yeah, it was a marvel movie marathon. i had some popcorn, chips, a couple bottles of soda, and at least 6 hotdog sandwiches during the whole movie marathon. i was alos able to finish the book that i was reading.
come sunday, i spent most of it with my daughter. we went to the mall, to the park, and heard mass. i got her a coupel of new dresses and pants from the mall. afterwards, we stayed at the park to paly some games. basically, we just goofed around with her ball and pet dog. if i could spend all my days with my daughter having fun, i would. lol!!!
monday was a tiem for me to relax and get more sleep and rest. i stayed in bed until late afternoon. basically, i just lounged around with my daughter and we slept early as well.
over-all it was a great weekend fro me and my daughter!!! i love extended weekends!!!

My weekend was twice as tiresome as the previous weekends. Unlike an ordinary weekend, I've done more things last weekend that made me so tired. First, I went to see my doctor for my first pre-natal checkup. Then I went to the hospital for CBC, urinalysis, and ultrasound. When I went home, I took care of my one-year-old son because his nanny went home (to her family..there was an occasion).
The next day, we had an out-of-town trip, and I had to look after my sister and our niece, who were playing at the mall. When we got home, it's my son kept playing, and I was so sleepy. And the end, I only got a little bit of rest, no nap, and a few hours of sleep.

I have grandkids around me all the time. They are so precious. We had a busy weekend. It was hot and we had a bunch of kids swimming. Things went well, I was busy feeding them all, then washing the dishes. I do like it when the kids are around. I am happy for you, that you had a good time with the kids.

We watched the game Saturday on Tv. Needed a break!! Glad to hear you enjoyed your weekend with the grandkids. That's always fun!

my weekend was not so great as I am suffering with
shingles and they are really hurting a lot but mylotting
seems to take my mind off the hurt for awhile so I
can sortof relax. I cannot go anywhere yet till I am
over the shingles and anyway do not feelmuch like going
anywhere anyway. I am still mylotting again today and
it does help me a lot. lol.

I had a very relaxing weekend. Me and my family were just trying to stay cool amidst weeding the gardens and doing housework. We don't have central air so there were a lot of fans running to keep us cool.

I'm just not sure where it's going to end. We have people right here that can not even afford to drive to work. What is the government thinking. I still say the gas/oil industry will break the country, for all of us.

Two of my three part-time jobs, I worked them this past weekend. Next weekend, we will be going to the Reinactments of the French and Indian War at Fort Ticonderoga one day and I'll be back to work at both jobs the next.

Most of the time, my weekends used to be boring, just stay at home. But last few weekend, even a bit rush, but my weekend still full. I went to home, vistited to Melaka, my brother's house. So I felt happy these few weeks, I enjoyed my weekends.

My weekend was both fun and a little stressful,Friday me and my fiance were suppose to shoot pool with our friend, but he never called,Saturday we had taco's and we saw the friend we were suppose to see on Friday cause we met him for a real early breakfast at McDonald's and then went to the local Wal Mart so he could get the stuff to change his oil, even though he decided to wait and then my brother met us there, and we hung out for a while, and then we went back to my friends house and picked up a computer chair, and then he stayed the night,Sunday my brother met me,my fiance, and our friend at McDonald's for another early breakfast, then we all came back here for a while, before my friend went home, and me and my fiance went to our room and went to sleep, and my brother went to sleep on the couch, and the whole time we were dealing with some issues that were causing us a lot of stress.

my weekend was quite boring. I stayed home then spent hours infront of the computer. I also laundried so many clothes and cleaned our house. it was worth it.

That's the bad thing about housework, seems like if we don't do it it'll never get done. Hope this next weekend will be better for you and you're able to get some fun stuff in.
