I always loved the movie,"Jesus of Nazareth" until the church I went to rented the theatre to see "Passion of Christ" when Mel Gibson was kind enough to give that to us.That was a blessing. What a fantastic movie.I cried so much.It really show's the truth of the story of Jesus and help's you understand what our Savior did for us. Which movie about Christ do you like the best and why?

Yes, Mary, those images are forever burned into my memory. Previous films "sugar-coated" things. I guess they felt we should not see such graphic suffering, but honestly, how can you really know unless you make it real? I know Mel Gibson was blasted by many for this, but instead they should have thanked him for letting us realize the real suffering that went on. How can we truly appreciate his suffering unless we see how horrible it was? I also like that it was done in the original language instead of English and that they used actors that were not all white with women wearing make up.

Yes - I loved "Passion of Christ" - Mel Gibson truly was spirit led to direct that movie! It was so very powerful and really portrayed true emotions as much as we can understand them! He did a great job and I was so glad that a movie all about Jesus Christ did so well! It really showed a lot of people who don't know Jesus all about the sacrifices He has made for us!

Heart - a symbol of love or caring
I found too in that fantastic movie that Mel Gibson brought us that even if you understand what Christ did for us,after seeing the movie you fully understand it.It brings Jesus and God's word to your heart even more.

My favorite movie about Jesus is Passion of the Christ. I think it was most Biblically accurate. Though he could have done a little bit more when they were beating him. I just love it. We show it at church every Easter and this year our foreign exchange student from Thailand had a lot of different questions.

I have watched Jesus before. But when Passion of Christ came I went to get it rented. It was a good movie. Well scripted, and acted well too. The message of sin and its horrible reality was communicated well in that movie. That's why it remains the best. Blessings!

I would have to say the "Passion of Christ". Even thou it was hard for me to watch, it helped open my eyes of what Jesus was like and how much he loved me.

I have to agree with you that the Passion of the Christ was very well put together and puts it in the best perspective of what actually took place. Brings tears to my eyes everytime I see that movie. Good time to watch it is when I think I have it bad, and then after watching it, reminds me I don't have it bad at all.
