When I started at myLot within 2 months I had earned a number 10 blue star. Then I was off for about 4 months due to the fact that my computer broke.I came in and I still had a number 10 blue star.I was in some during the next few months and still had a number 10 blue star. The past few weeks I have been here almost all day everyday and still had the same star. However today,it went down to a red, number 9.Why does that happen?

I've always had the blue star since I've gotten my blue star back when I first started. But from what I can tell from what others have said, it is because you are rated negatively. Usually this happens when you start a discussion or respond to discussions that are controversial. I tend to steer clear of those type of discussions!

Dfollin my dear it is best we all forget about this star thing and put some quality discussion on this forum. These trolls are really doing things that they are not to do. I have seen my star go up and down that I am now stop paying it mind. If we follow it we will all die from high blood pressure. I encourage you to just enjoy yourself here in mylot.

I don't let it worry me,I was just curious.I already have blood pressure problems,up and down.... strange. But,believe me it's not caused by the stars!

I don't know but I have heard that it is because someone might have "minused" your discussion. I don't know how many it would take for the star to go down. Have you been involved in some disagreements on a discussion lately? Some people do that if that disagree with your opinion on something. It's kind of silly. I always plus you so maybe we can get your star back up to 10.

I do the same thing myself. i go back and forth with my number changing from a 9 to a 10.I am not sure if it is because someone gave me a negitive rating maybe or what happened.

Isn't it based on people rating your posts and replies? I think that's what it is. I noticed when I joined a couple of weeks ago that I was a 7 and now I am a 9.

I think it is based on people's rating's also.I was always a 10 after I got to that point, even thou I was gone for a few months.Yesterday,it went down to a 9,now today Iam back to 10.

Well, I have no idea why it does with in fact you are spending your whole time today than before. Maybe the effect of your absence was just today? lol.. Well, we don;t know on that unless someone from mylot staff will tell yuo why. Just don;t mind the star. The most important thing is that you enjoyed and you are paid.

I used to have a blue star rating of 10 also when I first joined Mylot. I have not seen it since then. I think some people have rated some of my discussions negative and that is the reason for my star rating going down. I think alot of my friends have stopped using the rating system also to help me get my blue star back. I really don't think alot of us have actually done anything wrong though.
