I am so sad today

It is strange how one gets so attached to the people here! One feels for their problems as if they were part of your family. I read here about a woman who sent her son to the hospital to be checked, as he had a headache and I have been worried about him ever since! Now I am feeling for you and your friend, as I also know somebody who is a diabetic. The picture I have of you is less than an inch square, but that doesn't matter, you are a friend!

Many people know how much I have enjoyed watching Monk, a television show that has been on for years. One of the actors passed away and he truly cared about people. Stanley Kamel passed away of a heart attack 1943-2008 and he was such a great person. He would talk for hours about his television roles over the years.

Oh winterose I am so sorry to hear that, I know how it is to lose someone to diabetes, my husbands friend had his legs and one arm amputated because of diabetes, that is why I am so afraid for my mom who also has it. I do hope that you will feel better by remembering him and the good things and what good he has done. It is never easy losing a friend. I am sorry you had to find out like you did. I am sure he will be missed. But he is in a better place now without pain only gladness and joy and no worries. In that we must rejoice. I am sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend Ron..may he rest in peace..I've never lost an internet friend, i mean i did, but not this way, we just lost touch. My hubby has diabetes, and this disease scares me already but now even more...hubby is finally taking it seriously!

I am so sorry to hear about what happened to your friend. I know how it feels to lose someone really dear to you. I have never experienced losing an internet friend. However, I believe that the feeling would be just the same if one loses a friend in real life. It must be very hard for you winterose. I hope you will feel better soon.

I apologize for your lose Winterose. Its too bad I didn't know Ron...sounds like quite a loss on this end. I haven't lost an internet friend, not like this. I've had some disappear (from here...) but no deaths. At least not to my knowledge.

Hello winterose. Your heart is no doubt filled with sorrow because of the loss of this man, Ron. I read his story at the link you provided and it is obvious he was a very talented writer. I am sorry to hear about your friend passing away. I know it can be hard to lose the one's we care about the most. Your friend will always be with you in spirit. I'm sure he was a good writer as well as yourself for I have read a couple of your stories and they were good. Just know he will always be with you no matter what and I wish you the best of luck god bless you and take care.

I've had friends who I've only known on the internet who have passed away. Some I'd lost touch with only to find out later had passed on. Others I'd met on the internet, and only barely gotten to know IRL who met an untimely end. It's a sad reality. I'm sorry for your loss. Peace

I am sorry you lost your friend..I 'haven't lost friend from internet but i agree that if you have friends even only talking to internet can be also painfull.I am very concern w/ my friends from internet too.We been freinds for how many years.

I've never lost any friend in internet .But I think lost a friend is alway the same ,in internet or life.So if u feel so sad or lost ,try to find the reason why u lost him and call him back

I am so sorry you lost a friend. Friends are people that we interact with not necessarily face to face. The type of friend doesn't mean that you will miss or mourn him any less than you would any other friend. Again i am so sorry.
