Have nothing to do

True, time passes especially slow when we are bored and it's worst during work.. The time is like crawling when we wants it to pass faster so that we can finish work earlier.. haha 6_^ MAybe wat u can do is to do some stretching or just walking around in the office ^_^ Or mylot is a good place to pass time too.. lOL

I work seven days per week for alot of hours and I get so sleepy at times too. I force myself to stay up and work most of the time. I really have nothing better to do with my time either other than work. I always have things to do around my home. I stay busy with something. We really need the money also so I work all of the time.

Hey you! Perk up! Maybe you're just taking a mini-vacation from life. Every two or three months, I do the same. One morning, I wake up and find that I have nothing to do. Or, better yet, there's nothing that I want to do. So, I hang out at the house with my child and we watch TV together or play online games or watch free online movies. It's so much fun to take a break away from life. Sometimes if I can't think of a new discussions for mylot then I respond to 100 discussions that my friends have started. That usually gets the creativity going for me. I'm sure you'll do well. Enjoy your time off. As I've found, life usually gives you a small break to catch your breath, right before things speed up out of control. Be well! Have a blessed day.

Hi gxnfly-I can understand that too but in the afternoon for some reason I always have to have a nap my eyes just get too heavy and then before I know it am asleep for about an hour-not good-sometimes I think it is cos that it is boredom-your friend littleowl

Though I can hardly keep my eyes open, it not because I am at work, but rather because I got off from work this morning.

you have a problem of what to do? Oh!! just post discussions in mylot and you will not be bored. Reply to some discussions. Fro me, I have no time of being bored when I am here in mylot. I only feel that way when nobody replies,, lol.. maybe they are busy and waiting boring.. but if you keep on posting and replying? no bored feeling.. keep up!!! keep posting!!!!

I work in a call center, where sometimes it can be quite a few minutes between phone calls. But since there is no access to the internet on our computers, we find ourselves occupied by numerous things, like books, magazines, some people bring their PSPs or Game Boy DSs with them. Others draw pictures on paper, and others play cards. It's crazy and fun, believe me. Otherwise, we just talk amongst ourselves. What can you do at your job that maybe you aren't doing?

well, it always happen to me as well when my workplace is quiet... fortunately, i work in a place that always busy... so i always have something to do and no time to get bored... time passes really quickly for me and before i know it, it is home time... i love it... hope things will get better for you... take care and have a nice day...

What do you do for a living? Maybe you are bored with your job and want to do something else? I am a writer and even though it isn't a full time job, I enjoy it and never feel bored with it. Maybe you need to explore other avenues for a career. Just a thought. :)

Hello gxnfly, maybe you need to take some nap and relax so that you will stop feeling worried that you have nothing to do. You got work so whenever you have an idle time, treat yourself by napping and reviving some good energies!

There is always something to do if you look hard enough! Practice your English, read a book, write a story, draw a picture, find a hobby, have a sleep. The list is endless of things that you could do if you chose to. You are right, time does pass slowly when you have little to occupy yourself. Make time pass quickly, occupy yourself. If your work is not being given to you find it yourself. I am sure there is more English text for the website you could be writing.... Sorry if I sound mean and bossy, but you sounded like you needed a little stern talking to! It is all meant in the nicest possible way. At the moment I feel like I am stuck in a rut and perhaps I am, maybe life is just one big rut!

why don't you try to find something to do. find a good book and read, or clean the house and even visit old friends you haven't meet for a long time. when i am bored and have nothing to do, i read my books even if i have already read them for how many times. i even write poems and letters, and listen to my favorite music. in that way, i don't just escape the feeling of boredom, but i also learned and enjoy from what i am doing.

MAybe we're on the same boat. I usually feel bored late in the afternoon at work. I just do some surfing on the net like doing mylot and other paid sites. I even play some music to ease some boredom. Or sometimes I try to call some friends and have some talk for a while.

Well you should do things that can easily shorten your perception of time while enjoying. You can play games, watch great movies, or do some works that could be worthwhile like MyLot :-)
