After dinner, I prefer some cookies for dessert but not that often. I'd love fruits though after lunch time. hhmm...

I don't have much of a sweet tooth so I seldom have anything for dessert after my meals. Besides that all that sugary stuff isn't good for me. I'm usually too full for any thing sweet. My dessert would be something like mashed potatoes. or gravy over bread

I'm not too fond of dessert after meals. In fact, I'm not too fond of desserts, at all. But, at my husband's place that is, at my in- laws' home, a dessert is a must. A meal is not complete without a sweet dish. Anything would do as long as it is sweet. And, my mother-in-law makes delicious desserts-from ice creams to souffles to puddings of all kinds. But only, after dinner, that is. Fruits are for after lunch.

I often have desserts but not after every meal. I have a weight problem so eating desserts is proably not a great idea for me unless it is some fruit or something fairly low calorie. I do enjoy my sweets though.

I like to have something sweet after every meal, not exactly an elaborate dessert every time (have to think of the calorie intake as well). But once in a while do let myself indulge in a yummy elaborate dessert. I love the desserts here , guess it would be of help to those with a sweet tooth http://www.ifood.tv/network/dessert/recipes

No I would be big and fat if I did that. My aunt does that often looks for something sweet to eat on and her daughter is big for her age b/c she fixes cake for dessert and the girl over does it on sweets. Shes 12 now and her mom tells her certain things like she can only have 1 soft drink a day but she will do what she wants anyway. She doesn't really eat much regular food but pigs out on dessert.

Most times, my dessert is only once or twice a week. And then it doesn't happen immediately after dinner. Sometimes I will wait three or four hours and consume a few cookies as dessert, just before bedtime with milk. It's so old fashioned, but very enjoyable. Thanks for the lovely topic. I love talking about desserts.

Hello WATARIKENJI. I must say that I love dessert. Having said that, I try as hard as possible not to have dessert after every meal. I rarely have dessert at lunchtime, unless I'm at work and they have a cake or pie there, which isn't even once a month. There are times when I do have dessert. At home in the evenings, I might have a Weightwatcher frozen dessert of some sort. They are quite good but yet not so terribly fattening. I tend to have fruits as snacks in late mornings or mid-afternoons. We do not keep cookies in the house but I can assure you that if we did, I would eat them. Happy snacking! PearlGrace

good day..I don't crave for dessert after meal, maybe because my family had a hard time during my younger years and didn't let me get use to it or even try giving dessert after meal.

Usually I'm not eating any dessert after dinner. I think I would just explode ^^. Dinner is enough for me and I prefer to just let it pass my stomach before I touch any other kind of food. Cheers and happy myloting.

I don't eat dessert after meals very often. I usually eat desserts in the evenings while watching tv. I like to bake cakes or brownies or something like that to munch on in the evenings.

That would be nice! If we all did that we would all be really unhealthy. But it also depends on what kind of a dessert it is. I seem to have a sweet tooth mostly at night.

I never had dessert after dinner. Growing up we were always told to eat our dinner, if you ate enough dinner then you wouldn't need to eat something more. I can remember one of my uncles coming over and he always had a dessert after dinner. (he was one of those demanding type of people) Of course we didn't have dessert. He had a huge fit. I think my mom got out some canned fruit or something, of course that was after she cleaned his clock for being such a.........
