I think you are if it is over a certain amount. I think you are supposed to if it is over 600.00 that you earned. Your best bet is to ask your tax person.

Is it per site? Or is it accumulated?

I heard that if it is $600 or more from one place then you have to declare it. So even if you made $5000 but from 100 different sites then you don't have to declare it. I don't know for sure but I know I have never earned that much from one place to worry about it.

Yes. I got a 1099 from one of the places that I earn from online. I had to file taxes on my online earnings. You can also claim deductions for what you used to earn those earnings also. You can turn in your computer and things like that. I actually got a refund after claiming my earnings because of all of the deductions.

Unless you are really doing well with your online earnigns you are probbly not going to have to declare it. Certain programs like hits4pay will submit tax information for you. I dont expect my online earnings to reach the level where I have to declare it but I am kind of keeping track of it just in case.

we don't have taxes in our earnings but when we withdraw our funds from our banks taxes are included in many deductions. i don't agree that we shoulder the taxes instead the site must shoulder all taxes by it's members.

Yes. If you earn over $600 per year in total income, you must claim that income. It does not work out to $600 per site or per company. If you earn $600 or more from one site, they are required to send you a 1099 form. For more information, visit this url: http://www.irs.gov Best Wishes!

Yes, just like lottery and gambling winnings--but I wonder how many little people fall under the radar? Drat, I knew I was too honest for my own good!
