update on our dog and getting her home to us

I think we have figured it out i just hope it all works out. I have been on the phone and computer for a week and a half now and was feeling pretty helpless when the lady called me saying she couldn't hold her any longer. I have called the news channels and congressmen,mayors, shelters,rescues, state rep,red cross,vfw,american legion, you name it i called. I emailed oprah,ellen,dr.phil,animal channel,rescues, everything i could i did. the congressmen said to try radio local radio stations but they either wouldn't call back or said well can't you just get another dog. their luck i couldn't reach throuh the phone or i would of slapped them. yesterday after trying more sites and numbers i decided to give it a try and call they radio station in ok where my dog is and told our story again. The lady was about in tears and dead set that she was going to help us. She called the local paper and they are going to do a story about it and take donations she is going to air the story and has everything set up to help us get the money to get her home. The lady at the station is set that we are gong to have her back by next week. I can't wait,our middle son was very close to her and his b-day is next week so what a present is that! i hope it all works out. The sooner we get her back the better. The lady at the shelter where she got her weight for me and she is a couple pounds less now then she was 6 months ago. So who ever had her didn't feed her right so we need to get her home to spoil her. Thank you to everyone for the ideas and help. So hopefully by next week she will be home with us where she belongs. I just hope she likes cats. Thats my only worry now.
