I'll give up the radio first, well basically a television can entertain me more, because it has both image and sound, unlike radio, you only got to hear the sounds of the jock and or the music and occasionally some drama, but even though the radio also offers some good programs, 2 things is just better than having 1.

hi rhane!
like you i would give up my radio first. i hardly listen to the radio nowadays and i prefer listening to the songs in my computer. i used to listen to the radio a lot when the program Zac and Joey was being aired at NU107 every morning. when it stopped airing, i couldn't find any interesting programs anymore so i eventually stopped listening to the radio. and even before, i have loved watching television more than i liked listening to the radio. until now i'm a tv addict (second only though to all my addictions when enumerated, number one is internet addiction ^__~). and i don't miss the radio that much. i can listen to songs in the internet and there's MTV and other music television programs on tv to watch and listen music to.

i really don't know. both of them have equal entertainment for me. but i do spend a lot of time with my radio. i drive a lot so radio keeps me company. it think i would give up my tv first. as long as i still have my pc, i will still be able to watch my favorite tv shows.

Radio goes out the window first! lol. I rely on my tele too much I think, but it is entertaining and provides a background noise and background movement! Sorry radio, but if I had to choose, you go first. Though, I am able to access the radio through my tele,so I don't really have to give it up! lol.

I think I would have to give up the radio as well. With the radio comes commercials. I have my iPod that is commercial free and I listen to that more often. I have a DVR so I record whatever TV shows I want to watch so I can avoid the commercials. I normally have the TV going in the background no matter what I'm doing. I could watch certain shows on the internet though. Hmm, that changes things a little bit.
I still think I would rather give up the radio as opposed to the television. Not every network has their shows on the internet yet; at least not all for free.

i rarely listen to my radio also. but sometimes i will put a cd or tape cassette inside to listen to. tv is more visual and sometimes i watch music videos. actually i have organized my area where the computer faces the tv so i can type and watch and listen to the tv. multitasking...

although i am not always watching tv and more onto music, i prefer to give up tv radio first. i consider the whole family especially the kids. we have both tv and radio at home, but the kids prefer watching tv shows more than listening to the radio. anyway, daddy has his own music gadget...

Television. I use it more for sound than watching, most of the time. I love music and not only that, you can get some tv shows on YouTube, if wanted, LOL

I would not have any problem giving up my radio, if I could keep the CD player and tape player part. My husband will listen to the radio for hours at a time, but the only time I listen to the radio is when I'm in the car.

I would give up my radio, but not my Tv. I can always get cds or listen to an online radio station, but I do not have a wide screen monitor and it is no fun watching Tv shows or movies on a small screen. I love music a lot, and if there were no ways to get Cds or order music online, then I would have to play my organ more often or get a piano and my husband does not want me to get one. Besides, I am more of a singer than a player.

TV is a visual medium. So any time TV is better than Radio. But you can carry a radio, wherever you go. If I HAVE TO select only one between these two, my vote is always for TV.

hi rhane. I would give up TV first, I'm sure.
I don't watch TV at all. I find it boring and time consuming. And when it comes to radio, I listen to it from time to time. We have a TV in our flat, but it is because I live with my sister and she likes to watch TV sometimes.
If I lived alone, I'd not buy TV. It isn't useful for me.
have a nice day, jazgottt.

i would give up radio; tv has become a wasteland with some exceptions like most wanted or dateline

Me, i would absolutely give up my radio first, i hardly ever turn it on!The TV is much better I can still view music videos on it and listen to music, so the Tv can easily replace the radio.

In present day fast life the only company for a moving or ideal man is F.M.it may be in mobile or radio. We cannot all time watch T.V. so if we can do our work while we listen to songs and joks and news also.So i thing radio is the best pass time.
