I love reading and this only book of Margarett Mitchell is one of the superb love story i have ever read for 9 times and creates the same feeling in me, that sends my teardrops to fall. A classic love story that creates phenomenal record in the world of literature. I just want to know who among you here in Mylot has been touched by Scarlett O' Hara's love story with Rhett Butler, when he said his famous lines of "I don't give a damn"....

I first read Gone With the Wind as a young girl; it only took me a few days to read all 1034 pages of it. I was hooked! I've read it many times since, but didn't see the movie until I was an adult. It was good, but I don't think anything can compare to the book. I really should find a copy and read it again. It's been years since I have. I've read Scarlett, the sequel, but don't think it was anywhere close to the original, and didn't do justice to Margaret Mitchell's book.

I've read it a dozen times myself. I never get tired of it. It's such a wonderful story that's superbly written. Have you read the sequel by Alexandra Ripley, "Scarlett"? It's not the same of course, but it's fun to read about what could have happened next!

Hi julyteen, the book itswelf is a perfect one for people like us who loved to read this kind of love story. I've read it several times and keep it to share it with my family. But seems I'm the only one who love reading love story, I don't give a damn if they don't want to read it.

Oh yes I love this book and have read it six times. I also love Wuthering Heights and never grow tired of Heathcliff and Catherine's star crossed love. Classic literature is my favorite genre.

It's a very good book; it's actually one of the few books that I think the movie was actually done quite well in terms of staying true to the story. Did you ever read the sequel? It was a weird read, not only because it came so much later, but the characters just seemed a bit off.

Hello dear julyteen. It is also my favorite book and I saw the movies as well. I love it so much that I read it twice when I was at college and watch the movie after I read the novel. It made me feel as if I were in the story...
