Taking a leave from the Internet world!!!

I don't know how to start this, it is really painful for me. But I think I have to take a leave here at myLot, my sites in short my internet world. I have to do this though I know this will be hard for me. I have been on the net for sometime now and somehow, enjoyed every second that I was online. But recently, I felt really burnt out. I don't know what happened to me, suddenly, I just felt I needed to find myself, my real self. I needed to spend quality time with my kids, which I haven't done since I got active here and my other sites. I hope this feelings will cease as soon as possible. Coz I will really miss all my online friends. I don't know how long will I be away but I will still find time to check on all of my friends here. Try to post, try to say hi. I also hope that this will not be my last post here. I found not only friends here but I find my friends as family. Keep on myLotting my friends. See you all soon.

i understand how you feel... i also feel like that sometimes and feel like i need to take a break from here... we have become so addicted to internet that sometimes we need to take a break from it... enjoy your quality time with your kids and we are waiting for you to come back here... take care and have a nice day...

hi dhangski of course your kids must come first always
but do find time to check back in once in awhile and keep track of all your mylot friends. we all do get burnt out and need
to do something else for awhile as its only natural. I find
'mylot fills such a void in my retirement life that I do not
easly tire of it but then I am a widow and have one adult son
so I am not tied down with any family obligations and can do
just as I please. lol.

I hope you can bear it leaving the internet for a while. I have friends who decided to leave but there they are still keep themselves online.
Perhaps just for few days at least you could get a good rest, and can think and weigh things out. Just as you have the right to take a break, you are also welcome to come back anytime you want.

Thanks for everything. You've been a part of my life here, and you will still and remain my big brother. Thanks for all the help and words of endearment that you always tell me. I'm gonna miss you. Take care of your health. I hope this will just be days, I really need to rest my mind. God bless!

Hi there dhangski, I understand your feeling and truly we will miss you being here but you know, I still believe that we can always balance our time to all our respective roles but having kids, I agree with you, they need enough time to be with you especially if your time being online is the same time they are at home, free from school!

sometimes we need to sacrifice of the things that make us feel happy. internet can make us laugh and sometimes we could cry. i know your family is very important than spending your time here. mylot is always here for you, anytime soon still you can visit us here. maybe i will also experience soon and decide to choose a worst decision to take a leave in all my site because of some important things that need to be my priority. i understand your situation my friend. bear in mind, we always here to support you what decisions you made. see you soon!

Hello dhangs! I know that feeling. So, please take your time. Your friends are not going anywhere but I do...hahaha..no, i am just kidding... I am off for a four weeks vacation, starting this coming Saturday. So hopefully, i see you when I get back.

Don't worry too much, your friends will still be around. just look them up when you come back on the net. You need time to rest and have time for yourself and you family, afterall families comes first. Spent some alone as well or do some meditating,as its good for your soul. I do sometime. I know you can get well into Mylot as I have and I only just learned how to use it. I've been told off by my friends for been on it for 9.hours. Just have a long holiday from the net.

I'm very sad because we have just crossed our path and become friends here in mylot for a while then here you are bidding goodbye and taking leave. Though you have a good reason for taking a leave here (which I will not contest because I always believe that family is our number 1 priority) but I do hope that you can manage your time and still spend some time here in mylot, probably lesser than you used to be. Anyway hope that you could enjoy and recover the loss time you have with your kids and family and hopefully we could still heard from you.

Family is the most important thing in this world. We will not blame you for giving your family the much needed attention they need. The internet and mylot will still be here when you have some free time. Once in a while we need to take a break and the internet is a good way of taking that break. Internet and mylot have been part of your life and it's not easily forgotten. We will miss you but we know you will be happy and fullfill because you are spending it with your family. Hi sis dhang, you really made a right decision. As I've told you before. You should set your priorities in life. Family first before anything else. Your friends here and at Yuwie will surely miss a very sweet and charming friend. I hope you'll get back soon. And when you get back, we can play literati again on YM. Kids are important, you have to take care them.
But you can still find some time for mylotting, say 30 minutes or one hour.
We are master of time, not slave of time. You can arrange time yourself !

I think this is great for you to do. Getting close to your kids are the most important thing in this world. The internet will always be here for you and so will your friends on mylot. I don't think you need to stop altogether, but cut your time down to when the kids are out or sleeping. That is what I try to do with my daughter. Good luck in your quest!
