Congratulations! Life as you know it will never be the same. Being a mother has its ups and downs but it is rewarding all the same. You are going to get so many people telling you so many things about how to raise your child. The best advice I can give is to go with your gut. We all have maternal instincts that kick in when we have a child so dont let anyone tell you that you are holding your baby too much and it will spoil the baby or that you cant use powder when you change their diaper or that you shouldnt cut their hair until after they are 2. You do what you believe is best for your child. There are some things that you should call mom for like a rash or techniques to help a child sleep but it will come to you. Being a woman is a good thing but there are so many capes that you have to wear as opposed to men. On the same token, women can live without men but men definetly cant live without women!

I am happy for you, it is great to see you loving who you are, God was not crazy to give us the two sexes, some people hate their sexes so much they even want to change their sexes-this is very sad!

I am also a woman, but I have had all my children now! I am also a doula so I get to support other women to birth their children and support them in their pregnancies. Being a woman is a wonderful thing and the miracle of childbirth is awesome. Congratulations. Being a woman rocks!

that is definately a good news that your baby will come to the world. welcome to the new comer! yes, as a woman, i'm also very proud that we can enjoy something that men have no chance to enjoy, e.g. pregnant. it is an amazing thing to experience the baby from a cell to a human being.
