Have you ever done this?

My son and I ran to the store a little bit ago to pick up a few things for dinner. We picked up a small container of strawberry ice cream and we ate it in the car on the way home. I have a box of plastic spoons in the glove box for times like this. They are normally used for when my son wants a yogurt to eat on the way home, but today it came in handy for the ice cream. Have you ever gotten a container of ice cream and eaten it on the way home from the store? When was the last time you had ice cream?

I drank a soda that way once. I mean that's no big deal for an adult but I was a kid and didn't want to share the Pepsi with my cousin so I drank it all in the car. It was my Mom's idea. I would have shared, but she didn't like my cousin or his mom so I drank the whole Pepsi in the car. Took her less than a minute to drive one block to their house. That was one long drink of Pepsi!

I have done the chug a soda thing before too. You give yourself away if you let out a big belch when you get there though.

I keep plastic spoons in my vehicles as well. I do this all the time. Sometimes I just can't wait to get it home so I will eat it in the vehicle. However on my motorcycle I really can't get away with eating ice cream or anything for that matter on there while driving.

I would not suggest ice cream while driving a motorcycle no. Spoons really come in handy when you are in the car sometimes.

I don tthink I've ever eaten ice cream on the way home but I have frequently gotten popsicles and stuff like that and eaten them on the way home. I have ice cream in the freezer right now plus assorted ice pops and ice cream on a stick. I'm a big fan especially in the summer.

My son has been a little ice cream fiend lately. He could not wait to get home with it, so I let him pop it open and I took a few bites too.

not recently but yes my hubby and I used to do that and it was great fun specially since we were living at that time in Arizona and it was 108 in the shade so we sort of slurped up our rockyu road ice cream and it was really really delicous. the last time Ihad ice cream was twodays ago and it was butter bricjle pecan and very tasty too.

In that heat you almost have to eat it in the car or it will be soup when you get home.

Nope but it sounds like fun! I don't think I could eat that much icecream in one sitting. Strawberry is my favorite, though, so I might be able to cram it down!

I had ice cream just last week, but it was those Dibs things. They were pretty good. So, no spoon was needed for them just like the commercial illustrates.

I have never tried those Dibs things. The look like they would be pretty good though. I am glad that you enjoyed them.

That's funny. I don't usually eat in the car. I don't eat ice cream very often anymore. It's probably been a couple of years. I like fruit sorbets though, especially berry and mango.

No, I have never done that; however I probably would if I was very hungry and did not have anyone to tell me not to. xD I don't really enjoy waiting around to eat it, and I really don't like when it gets too melty and mushy.
