I don't like to watch movies that the main characters will die. I hate sad endings. We respond to movies just like a real story coz we are human and thats normal. We cry, laugh, scared, amaze... in short we respond to what we see.

I would prefer a movie with a true, tragic ending than a movie with a tacked on happy ending. My favorite endings are the surprise endings. The type that you Have to keep to yourself until your friends have seen the movie before you can even discuss the film.

I don't like movies with tragedies. It is very sad to know the see the bad and sad ending, such s the City of Angels. But it's no double that movies with tragedies will be much more impressed and tend to win the awards. I love China

Same here! In fact, I did not even watch Titanic even if almost all people had gone to see the movie. I watch movies to be entertained and feel good and not to get depressed and sad. So happy endings only please!

as long as they dont kill animals im ok lol.. but i do like tragedies or at least movies that arent all happy.. i dont know many if any happy endings in real life so i dont like seeing something i dont believe can happen in real life then thinking that it could happen for me.. i guess im a realist instead of a optimist.. but i know im in the minority on this subject lol

I like to watch things that are based on true life stories, unfortunately many of them are sad. I hate to say it but I'm a crier in the sad ones. I like to watch almost all kinds of movies. I love mysteries and suspense. Family movies are great for the greandchildren and my or our family time. It's really sad when you know what is going on in a movie really happened to someone. I cry and even pray that the people involved have things turn out good for them, ok so I'm a sap...lol

I like any movie with a good ending doesn't matter if its happy or sad just as long as I am not scratching my head at the end saying what? why did it end that way? then I am good. Even if I do cry. Yes I would rather to laugh and be happy then sad at the end of a movie.

Happy endings are always nice, but they don't fit all movies. Sometimes a person is destined to die and the movie tries to show that throughout so that it's not such a shock. I guess we wonder what would have become of Jack in Titanic if he'd survived. Surely he and Rose could not have been together. She was from a rich family who would have ousted her if she married him. Where would he have gone? Back to the streets?

I will say, actually i like movies with tragedies endings because most movies are with happy endings and that's quite bored.. hehe ^_^ With some twist and unexpected ending, will make it nicer and more memorable to ple who watched it.. hehe ^_^

Yes, I love it. It makes me cry, but I do love it. I did suffer from a post-natal-depression two years ago and my doctor even told me to watch those movies 'cause it helped me to let my feelings out. My husband finds it funny when he sees me crying, but hey, I can't stop it. Guess I'm a softy Have a nice day

I do. It reflects real life more. I don't like when movies have a tidy ending with smiles and a huge red bow on top. That annoys me because life isn't as grand as some movies make it seem. Plus I have more of an understanding with dramatic endings.

I agree that movies with happy endings are awesome, but I do also like movies with tragedies, even though sometimes they are so sad that they make me want to cry ,but I think a big part of an action movie, which are the type of movies I watch the most,is the fact that tragedies happen.

I find movies with tragedies a lot more interesting to watch rather than with those with Happy Ending... I find the twist of the story a lot more good to see... It's not that I don't like Happy ending Movies but I think they are just so ordinary in movies. A change in the end is great!

i hate tragic ends and i cry loads and loads...and a tragic movie often leaves a headache behind...i normally go for comedy movies..or suspense.

I certainly don't like tragedies. I know i'll start crying in spite of me and later feel like an utter fool. I love comedies, what ever kind thery are.I some times laugh and laugh till tears roll dowm my cheeks and i feel at top of the world.

I like movies which have a bit of a twist and surprise me. One of my favourites is The Sixth Sense - that really surprised me. And I love The Shipping News, too.

No, I'd prefer comedies. However, my favourites are horror or crime movies.
