Hello mylotters hope you all are doing well, have fun on this wonderful site.
This discussion is on paying bills online. I feel it is very convenient for working professionals who work in shifts. They can easily pay their bills online, through credit/debit cards.
Well, I do not have any such responsibility on me yet as we are in a joint family. What do you feel about this issue; do you pay your bills online?
Take care , Blessings!

I make payment online, net banking. i pay my mobile bill, landline and transfer to diffrent account. its easy, but i get tense soemtime that the money has gone to right account or not. the only problem i face when the mobile company charge me wrong then its difficule to pay bill. because the bill amount is incorrect. then i have to wait the mobile company to adjust the same in the next bill.
enjoy :)

Not really, because then i'd need a bank account or such system and i don't have any of that...at least i think, i haven't even researched to see if my country's companies allow to make payments in taht way, i think those kind of bills are worth the extra effort of going and paying them personally.

yes, actually,i always pay my bills on the internet though i don't work in shifts. For me,it's very convenient to do this, and i could get some additional services at the same time.Besides,I always buy things on the internet too. I can choose anything i like on the net,and things will be sent to me quickly.I think we people will all be used to this kind of life,it's really wonderful.

Hi,so far I still not yet practice this habit by paying bills online. I just got my first credit card and yet there was no necessary payment that needed me to pay online. But lately I am figuring out how is online payment done through internet. In term of internet knowledge,I think I still to catch up with this sophisticated technology. Most of the transaction terms,I am still not familiar with them. I need more time on this.

Well seeing as I am overseas and have been for the last three years; and ALL my bills are pretty much back in my home country; I pretty much have no choice as this is the most effective way for me to monitor and pay everything. I don't use my credit card though and it is more online transfers and things like that. Australia has a pretty good and secure payment system in this regard.

I use to but they weren't getting there on time and we had alot of late fees for it so I had to do it the old way. I would pay them a week ahead of time but I guess the bank cuts a check and they were really slow about it so I went back to the old way.

Hi ramyashreesk! I am doing good somehow and I hope you are doing alright too my friend. Regarding paying bills online, it is very convenient to do so. I have that kind of feature in my credit/debit card but haven't done so because I do prefer going out of the house and go to the mall wherein there are satellite offices wherein I can pay all my house bills. I guess it is an excuse for me to go out once in awhile. haha..
Take care and God bless!

I pay all my credit cards via the computer, and my car insurance as well as my cellular phone bill is automatically debted from my bank account each month. I find this incredibly convenient as I am never late on the payments and avoid late fees as well as bad credit reflection.
I always make sure I have enough in my account to cover these bills, so there is no problem there. Also, it saves a few bucks on postage each month.
My bank, like most others these days, offers free online banking with bill pay, so everything is actually very easy once it's set up initially.

The only payment I have to make every month is the one for my loan. I do it online because it's very convenient for me. I am an expatriate here and I don't have a car, it's quite tedious having to get out because I don't live near a bus terminal.

no, i normally do not pay bills through internet. i would rather do business by ATM, or even go to the bank in person. through internet i'm always afraid that there be something wrong with the internet. sometimes you can also hear the news that some problem happened in internet. right?

I"m still leary about having all my personal info out there in cyber space so many times. I pay a few online, but the rest in check. I don't have that many to pay anyway. Utilities I pay via check. I am still half in the 20th century! But if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I pay some of my bills online but since some of the utilities here in the Philippine do not have an online payment method, we still queue up just to pay them cash. I haven't encountered any problem with the two most recent payments I made online and hopefully, I won't encounter any in the days to come.
