Do you prefer to sit in front of the TV or computer?

I like to be in front of my laptop sitting on my porch where it is nice and cool and peacefull while until the kids come running outside because they need something.

I like my computer but I do both. I probably pay more attention to the computer. It's a way of communicating and thinking, whereas the TV, although entertaining, does not take much thought.

I do both. I have a laptop and wireless so I leave it on my coffee table or on my portable desk to use while watching TV from my couch. I love being able to do two of my favorite things: watching tv, and wasting time on the internet.

Keeping this brief, but the computer. I am not a big tv person these days. I guess if I get cable, I will, but for now, the computer wins hands down for me.

I normally sit in front of the computer, mostly because I don't sit in front of the television because I don't have cable or a satilitte. But I do sit at the computer with the noise of my kids watching movies in the back ground.

I often do so at home. I know that it takes more time to do less of my works. But still at home, I want to do little relax. So, I do not mind. It relieves me from stress.

Well I sit in front of my pc and at one site my television is running which I am hearing not seeing and in between I see it.So I prefer both and cannot live without both. I think majority of us is like that.

Now ya have my number that is the way that I do it to when I;m at home at work I have the TV on but where puter is can't see it but I listen to it

I am with you. I like to log on and read the background of a movie While I am still watching.this way I don't have to wait for the end credits to roll. I can see why the star looks familiar or is this film the directors first film or not.

Hello shamashemnice. I, too, tend to have the TV on while I'm on my laptop. It's just nice to surf the internet and watch TV at the same time. I like TV, though, and if a show I really enjoy comes on, I'll shut down the computer. Otherwise, I tend to lose the details of the program and get frustrated.

I generally laptop while I'm in front of the tv. I dont always have it on. I sometimes just laptop without the tv. I dont like to use alot of electricity so I will laptop just about anywhere. I dont think that the laptop battery uses that much electricity so that is really what I prefer. I think that the tv and laptop combination probably uses more electricity than I should consume.

I am a person which mainly concentrates on educational things so, I feel that whether it as a TV or computer if it is educative I prefer to spend most of that.In Tv Iwill mainly concentrates on Discovery channel

i prefer computer (laptop) cuz i use lots of parts in my body but the tv feel me boring

I have time for these two items, in the evening, am right infrnt of the TV but during the day it is the computer-as a matter of fact, I love them both!

In general I prefer to be in front of the computer, although I have done the laptop in front of the tv myself sometimes! My exceptions to preferring the computer are 1/when I am going to ride my exercise bike and 2/when I want to sit down with my crochet. These are times when I am more in need of just something to occupy my mind while my hands or body are otherwise engaged.

I really don't have much of a choice sitting in front of my laptop because I have to work sometimes 24/7. Most times if I am home, well then the Tv will be on and I would glance at it from time to time while working.

I enjoy both. But sometimes, when I'm home alone, I will do both. I will turn the TV so that I can watch it while I'm on the computer. I hope to have a laptop before the end of the year, than I can just sit in the cough before the TV and working on the laptop in the same time. Have a nice day

I will always choose the computer over television. In fact I haven't turned the TV on in 18 months. I prefer the computer because you can interact with people, research and stay in touch with family and friends, amongst many other things. Television offers none of that.

my computer is in my lounge, so i can see the tv also.. but i always sit in front of computer, i have everything here, my music, friends around world to keep me company, to talk to and of course mylot.. :)) Maybe if i had a partner i would be sat in front of tv more, watching dvds but i don't find it so much fun sitting on a big sofa by myself lol i get more satisfaction here and always learning something new.. And meeting people all over the world..
