I have so few responses in my discussions,please tell me why....

Do not think about dullness..LOL! I have experienced that also a lot of time or I will say most of the time..LOL! How about adding more friends and turn on the notification, in that way, you will be active when they start a post and at the same time, they will do the same for you!

Hello, yenwie84! You are still new here at myLot, so it's not strange that you are not getting too much responses. I myself don't get too much responses either, but I think I know what is my problem. The more friends you have, the higher your chances of getting lots of responses. It also depends on which interest you put your discussions, and the TAGS you add for them. There are many things that influence. But you'll get there. I guess you have already received a lot of responses in this one, so, congratulations! :D Respectfully, Munhozmib.

i also didn't receive much responses to my discussions even though i have lots of friends here... that's why i prefer to respond rather than creating a post... i just feel discouraged when i see other people receive so many responses to their discussions but not mine... anyway, i don't think about it that much... i just do what i can do here... take care and have a nice day...

I think perhaps you are a new member. Please keep posting more and then soon later you will have more responses for your discussions. And by the way, I think it's better for you to have your own avatar rather than this default avatar. Others can't remember you if you don't have a special avatar. I love China

Do not worry. Even I do not get much responses. Actually I feel that if we start a discussion with a simple topic its the best. The topic should be such that people should find it easy and interesting to write. If you try to write on some topic about which only few people have knowledge, few people will respond. This is what I feel.

Hello yenwie84, No you are not the only one who have few reponses in your discussions I do too, maybe they find our discussions too interesting but we have to perserve and keep trying. Good luck Tamarafireheart.

I dont get alot of responses to my discussions alot of the time myself. I think it helps to make your discussions pretty general with something everybody has experience with like "What do you like better Burger King or McDonalds?"Also, when you are here longer and have more friends you will get more responses.

The most likely reason is that you have only six friends, so not very many people are even seeing your discussion. If people don't see it, they can't respond. Add lots of friends and I guarantee that your number of responses will go up. I've written an article on Associated Content about how to navigate myLot and make it work for you. i think i had a reply to one of my discussions but have only posted one or two. i seem to log on late and creating discuusions at that time doesnt work, its much easier to reply

I looked at your profile and saw that you have posted a lot or your discussions in the interest of people and how to make money. Why not try to add discussions of other interests and post discussions there. Because sometimes people search under discussions from their interests.

I just went back and looked at your threads. I think I know why you are having so little luck. You need to have a grammar checker. I would suggest that you write the post in word or something that will underline mistakes and offer you corrections and then copy and paste it in here. If people have a hard time understanding your posts they will not respond. This is probably very non-PC but I don't mean it that way. I couldn't write in any other language even with a grammar checker so I think you are doing amazing. I think just by using a grammar tool you will have better results. I will go and respond to some of your posts...if I can find them..lol. I think a lot of time once a couple people respond then the ball gets rolling and then everyone responds. Or if it's things that people have something at stake in. Connie
