Do you ever have days that you don't do anything?

It's summer. It seems like everyone should be having as much fun as they possibly can, although I've noticed that on a lot of days lately, the only thing I've done is watch movies and go online. At the end of the day, I realize that I didn't really do anything all the important, but the day doesn't exactly seem like it was boring though either. Does anyone else stay at home all day on some days?

I have a lot of days where I feel I didn't accomplish anything. We have kids so we are always doing something, but sometimes I wish I could get more things done to speak of. Cleaning the house when you have kids is a daily routine but yet the next day you would swear we hadn't done it. There are also days where I wish I could just do nothing but simply sit and watch television and eat. However, as I get older I realize what a waste those days are. I need to do what I can while I can, sometimes it just doesn't feel like I am doing enough.

There are days when I just dont do anything other than just relax. Especially on a Monday, we always call Monday the lazy day. Not everyday I feel like working even at home, even before I was retired, they were days when I just felt blazea'.(do nothing DAY)

There have been a few sundays where I have done pretty much nothing and just enjoy my partner's company and we enjoy a night in with movies and eating out or in which ever comes easy. It is very nice to be able to just relax and have like a day off where you don't have to do anything and be able to just lazy around and enjoy a bit of quiet time too. It is so hard sometimes these days I find to even make time for myself. I wish we had more days like these to be honest with you.

I've often spent days like that, and with the summer holiday almost here I am trying to avoid having too many days like that. I want to make the most of the summer this year!

Yes there are days when I have nothing to do at home. I keep sleeping or watching TV. It makes me become lazy. I just eat, sleep and watch TV and most of the time I am surfing on the net :p But when it comes days that I have lots of tasks to do, then I stay really busy :D

I have to say that there are days when I don't feel like doing much. It's kind of hard to not do anything at all. I have a small child now. However, there are some things I will let go once in a while so I can relax. I might watch a movie or television. I do like to go on line also. Yes, I do stay at home all day a lot.

i never experienced a day when i actually spend the entire day doing nothing important... yes, i am a bit relaxed during weekends as they are my days off from work... but i still do something important like tidying up and cleaning up my house, cooking, grocery shopping and preparing the meals for the following week... so it is still quite hectic for me... take care and have a nice day...

Jepp I do, as today, I only sit here online. Have done since I woke up. However, some things need to be done as dishes and cooking. But yet is not in a hurry. I take the day as it comes. I work full time as a assistance nurse and I do need those days when I do not do anything. It is a good brake from the must do things. And to think about it your health also need this kind of a brake. Just enjoy the day as it comes.

I stay home and do nothing on Sundays. I dont have to go to work so I stay in bed as long as I can after that I just sit and watch sports, or Nascar. I dont work on anything for anybody. I just take care of my kids. I love sundays. The only bad part is knowing that I have to work the next day.

I definatly have days like that. Although it's not really that I don't do anything; it's just that I don't do anything that regular people consider constructive. On really bad days (well not necessarily bad but down), I just curl up in bed with my books. Usually I put a movie on for background but I read ALOT. I read fast so I can get through a couple books easy if it's a stay in bed day. About the only thing I get out of bed for is to throw a quick dinner together for the children.

If I don't have the budget to go out to have some fun, I would just probably stay at home. Maybe watch some t.v. or go online.

I work so much my days off are precious. I always like to get up and do something on those days even if it is some housework. I never liked lazing around the house for the day, but I have come to understand that sometimes we have to do this and not feel guilty or that we have wasted a day but that we have relaxed and recouperated in the comfort of our own home.

I'm with you on that. School's out for the summer. I'm happy that I have extra hours now, but I do nothing with them. Haha. I always end up just going online, watch a few hours of TV, then go off to bed by the end of the day. Not exactly the highlight of my life, but it wasn't exactly the most worthless point either.

I stay home often on weekends and do nothing. I work at my local YMCA pool for my summer job on every weekday and sometime I just need to take a break. I have days where all i do is read, watch TV, fool around on the internet, and/or take a nice long bath. The only really productive thing I do is that the books I read are required for my high school English class to be read over the summer.
