Does it mean a family, a career or both? I know many people who have both a lovely family and a good career. It can be done. What's your take on this subject?

life means a happy family to live,a satisfying career to work,a lot of friends to play,a good state of mind to stay healthy,a pleasant figure to dance,an easy-going personality, twice a year long distance travelling, new clothes to wear and so on. Have anice day and take care.

I have a wonderful family but career and family can both be very fulfilling. For me, though, family comes first.

I like both of them too....but if something comes first it's always the family thing...If I get invited to babysit....eat at their house or join them in an outing I stop working and go for it. But I do like my career too.

For the longest I thought my life was all about things.Since my health was compromised and I'm now handicapped it's alot different. I don't sweat the samll stuff. Like messes,my grandaughter spilled something and immediately apologized.I told her it was ok that messes are made to be cleaned up.We don't run around tearing things up or anything but if it happens oh well.My kids are grown so I'm ready to be happy and content. Live daily for the day.I still take care of things I should I'm just not as uptight!!! LOL i love life

My life before consisted of work, work, work, more work and church. That was my whole life. Working twelve hours a day or more depending on the season. And then going to church to devote a little time to God. I then became very sick. All those years of working so hard had ruined my health. My work was my life. Now my life was ruined by my work. Some thanks it gave me. huh! So now my life is my family. I got married after I became sick. She was the one who helped me regain some of my health back. I am now devoted to her and the children. They are now my life. Along woth a few hours a week to give to God so some day I will have a good after life.

To me it means having a wonderful family and friends, and a job that is enjoyable to work at. If a person can't be happy at what he or she is doing, that doesn't make for a very pleasant life at all.

Life means having to work hard at everything you do and you have to be prepared for alot of ups and downs. It consists of honesty and consistency in your family life and your career. Life is all about whatever we have to go through or deal with daily.

Well I'm a single parent, so this is difficult for me. If I don't focus on my job, then I can't support my child. Because of this, the balance for me is definitely not equal. I find myself having to make up for lost time with my daughter. Yes, it can be done, but I think it helps to have both parents in the same home. Life to me means that you strive to do your best with what you have, you lead by example and love to your fullest ability.

I have a family and a career and although I would say my family is more important than work, I think having a career is important to me. I think the major thing is having a balance between the two. As a women, creating the balance is even more tricky, espeially when children are still young. My daughter is almost 2 years and I try and spend as much qulaity time with her. I think the ideal for me would be to have a career with flexibility around my family.

I always managed to work part time when our kids were small. I had a job, not a career but things worked well. Balance is the key. Thanks so much for responding.

hello friend, yes,i think as long as the husband and wife is getting on well with each other in their family, they can have a lovely family and have a good energy to put on their career. I think firstly we should make up a warm family, then we can have a good career. In my mind, a happy family is more important than making money. So if we want to enjoy our life well, please take good care of your family, then, start a wonderful career.lol Good luck to you
