Oh! Its just the copy of my discussion !

Hi subha12, If you are sure that the person has copied your discussion, You must report the matter to mylot admin atonce. These type of things should be discouraged totally. Good Luck.

Did you Report them? If it was me, I sure would have. This is definately against the myLot rules, and could get your discussion pulled as well if someone else was to report it. I know some time back, I had one of my discussions or two copied as well, and almost had mine wrongly pulled because of it. I do wish you the best, and hope you can get this resolved.

well what can i say? this member is brave enough to copy paste your discussion!! just wondering what action you take on this..did you report this member to the admin?

If they can't come up with their own discussions, they need to not start any. I think you should report this person. That just makes it bad for the people that do honest posts. I think people that do that, should not be allowed to benefit from their posts and you really should do something about it.

I have never encountered such an incident... i think it is not nice to just copy paste another's discussion... that is like a violation of one's rights... i hope you reported that person to the mylot admin... if he/she gets away with it... the person might think it is okay to copy the discussion of others... and might do it frequently...

your serious!!! a person can actually do that? copy and paste a discussion that you started months ago and use it for their own. did you report it to mylot? well if you have you have done the right thing. that person is so low i never had anything like that happen to me before, but there was this one time when someone started a post under one of my interest, that had similar content of a discussion i posted. but the subtitle was different, so i didn't really pay much mind to it.

It's too bad they can't come up with their own ideas...to copy and paste your discussion is against the rules. I don't blame you for being amazed to see it!

That sounds really terrible! But at least you have found out, and you can move on to report this at mylot administration. They will for sure take measures against him. Good luck in your effort, i am also amazed to see such action done by someone.

Really that is new for me. I wonder if admin will notice it, and what will they do?

Hi subha. How could someone do that thing? Does he/she had no originality? Glad I haven't experienced it with my discussions. But if ever I saw one. I'll ask why did he/she copied my discussion.

It never happens to me but it's not good to do this. Someone has started a discussion with much thought and effort..and one just copy it easily without giving any such effort to the topic. I think one must be genuine here on mylot, we must not copy-paste. We must express our real concern here..

Whenever I posted a question and that question reappear again, I feel good because that question seem to be interestet that is why it is being raised again, or my be people lack words to frame and it is easier to them to copy, provided it has the same ideas, again it has been said "plant many varieties of crops for you don't know which one will grow and which one will not grow" so may be you question was not discussed and might be discussed when posted by someone else apart from you.

You should report that to myLot authorities. I am a writer that is why I hate plagiarism! When someone is copying what I wrote, I immediately report it and even blocking them to access my profile or site. You have the right to do it since you are the original author of that posts. We should tolerate that kind of action because it will affect the reputation of myLot. Have you already taken some action regarding it?

This is so strange, if at all its a glitch. If not and if someone just copied and pasted your matter and started a discussion then I think you should report him/her. Recently I faced something very strange as well. I started a discussion regarding networking sites. After I submitted I found that I couldn't read the heading!! I still cannot open the discussion. But its showing that 4 users have reponded. It's very strange.

I have not come across such a topic. And surely you reminded me a thing that i have lots of topic to be resolved.. Subha..is the discussion started by you, pertains to any news item. Because if it is the news item and to which you may have posted here with a link to the site, and the same thing the person could have posted without noticing that of yours.. Its all may be.. or may be... he would have specialised in plagiarism.

no dear in these days i am too much busy and could not spare time for my lot but very little i will check out it . any way need not worrying about it dear people who can not create discussion their own do such things

I never face this kind of thing before. I think you should report this thing to Mylot.com so that action is taken against this person. Being a copycat should be taught a lesson.

yeah i also experienced this, i saw discussion similar as mine, the only difference is the wordings but the thought is there.. hehehe..
