A hot new anime!

Ok I have thing for vampire novels, movies, t.v. shows, and anime. Ok and Manga alos when I get to readi it or fing a place that has a good selection. Well just recently I went on a mission to find a new vampire anime. So I found won that's called Vampire Knight... Ofcourse it's based off a manga. But Vampire Knight has 3 main characters Yukki, Zero and Kaname. Both Yukki & Zero have been adopted by the chairman. Yukki at the age of five was saved by Kaname from a lever E vampire, she has no knowledge of anything before that. Zero's family was slaughtered by a vampire and he is the only one left so hea was also entrusted to the chairman. 10 years later Yukkie and Zero are Prefects for the Academy where they have night & day classes The day class consists of normal humans while the night classes consist of the Vampire nobles who signed a treaty to live peacefully among the humans in the academy to prove that they can coexist in peace. During this time Yukki and Zero are also guardians and the only ones beside the chairman that know what they night class is. The first season started in April and just ended in June and the second season is due to begin in October of this year.
My question to you is has anyone ever seen this anime?
If so, what did you think of it?
Or have you just read the magna & does anyone know when 42 &43 come out?

Yea. I just finish watching the anime and am mid way through the manga now.
I must say, I prefer the anime to the manga. I think the anime is better drawn. 
I also like the little humor present in the anime/manga. It lightens up the mood a little. If not, Vampire Knight can be really scary.
My favorite character has got to be Zero. He is totally cool!
I do not really like Kaname as I think he is a very manipulative person. I hate the way he plays with people's minds. But I must say, he is a very charming vampire (he is a pureblood afterall).
I am hoping for Season 2 to come out real soon.

I have been getting it through Megavideo.com I also use veoh .. Try Rosario Vampire you might like it .. It's more comical than Vampire Knight.

I have to say I love them all they are all great characters which I hope that season 2 is even better than season one and that it's not that hard for me to find online. LOL!!!

I'm a big fan of the anime. Love the story line. Love the intricate relationship among Yukki, Zero and Kaname. I don't want to read the manga just yet since I prefer following the anime without knowing what to expect in Season 2.

I have already read the manga and I can't wait to see how they actually get to where they are in the manga and I can't wait for the new manga to come out.

I've only seen up to episode 8 of the anime but I thought that it was a pretty decent series. It didn't stray too far from the manga which is a good thing. As for the manga, I read it on and off so I'm probably going to have to go through the whole thing again.

Yeah I noticed that this one stuck pretty close to the manga which is nice. I have also been watching Rosario Vampire the whole first season which the second one is slated also to come out in Oct. which is going to be nice. But It didn't keep at all to the manga and it skipped things to get all the characters often.

aw yes such a good anime! I can't wait for the second season to start :D I think it starts in October or November. Very good story! I'm actually about to read the latest chapter released in the magna in a few minutes lol ^_^ So to answer your other question chapter 42 is out now and chapter 43 will be out next month. They are usually released the middle of the month, but if you can't read japanese wait till the end of the month to let the translators work their magic ;)

yep I can't read japanese so I have to let the translators work their magic. Yeah me. I have found out that second season will start in october.. The same time rosario vampire starts also. LOL!! yeah I have two to watch them .. Thanks for your response and take care.

yup, during summer vacation, it was my craze.. i was also waiting for chapter 42-43.its a long wait right?... and the season 1 had already ended.. i think the season 2 will be released on October, as I've read from one of the forum of a particular site.. Its called Vampire Knight Guilty..

i do, the season 1 just end couple of weeks ago. and the anime is having a season break and will be back on october this year. you can check the official site. I like this anime, I also have fascinations about vampires. And i think vampire knight is one of the good vampire anime's ive seen so far. havent heard of the manga ch.42-43 when its gonna be out. Im also looking forward to it.

I loved it and think it's on my list of top vampire animes. But I think that I still hold trinity blood a little higher. What can I say Abel won me over. LOL!! I hope that they get ch. 42-43 out soon I really am itching to see what is going to happen.

Withholding future information for the sake of spoilers, but yes, I've heard of and watched it. Kaname is actually a pureblood vampire (a rarity), not a level E (otherwise he would have ate Yukki instead of save her ;p).
Bella, keep an eye on that other if you want a little reading.

yeah I thought I stated that she was saved by Kaname from a level E but knowing me and typos. LOL!!!:) .. I have read all the manga available to me for Vampire Knight I do love it and can't wait to see what they do with the second season if they stick as close to the manga as they have now or will they try and change it a bit more.:P i think that I'm going to have a fit before october because I can't wait for Vampire knights second season and rosario vampire to come out and have you read chibi vampire and seen the anime to go with .. that was a great one too. Sorry been spending alot of time on my anime.

I've been following the anime so far, and I have to say it's pretty engaging. The character designs are lush and detailed. I love the opening song as well. Yuuki is probably one of my most favorite female characters. I don't know if I can wait for October. XD I wonder when the dub is going to be released?

I have already downloaded the OST for that and I'm exicited to get on a cd to listen to in the van. I love Zero's character and always root for the underdog. LOL!!! Have you read the manga .. Directly after I watch the whole season I ended up reading up to 41 and I'm waiting for them to put our 42 and 43 online.
