Fave homecooked meal?....

What is your favorite home cooked meal?... who cooks it best?... I have to say that I love my mom's lamb chops are the best!... and my mother in laws green beans are the awesome.... but my favorite home cooked meal I think is chicken and eggnoodles and mashed potatoes... mmm mmm.....well, now that I think about it, I love a grilled "drunken chicken" and some homemade potato salad too! :) So what is your fave?

Ooh, I love so many home cooked meals. Of my own cooking, I love veggie pot pie. My mom's homemade pizza and raviolis are my faves too.

Hi amanda08, my friend, i am a vegetarian and i love to cook. cooking is my hobby, my interest. but i love to eat food cooked by my mom too. she cooks delicious food. i love kidney beans with rice, i love mashed potatoes, i love fried potato in wedge shapes with cumin, i love okra, or lady finger. i love rice and fried rice with veggies in it.

That is so cool.. you know I have always wondered what some vegetarian meal ideas would be.... I am not a vegetarian, although I do get in a mood sometimes where I am just not wanting meat... The fried rice and veggies sounds really good!...I am going to have to make some... unfortunately my fiance will not hardly eat a meal without meat... maybe if I make some of that fried rice and veggies it will change his mind! ;) Thanks for your response!

My favorite would definitely have to be tenderloin tips with the most amazing gravy, mashed potatoes and a side of mixed vegetables. It's been a traditional family recipe from way back to my great grandmother's. Too bad we only have it during special occasions. My mom doesn't cook it that much anymore, but my brothers really do well with it too. Lately, I haven't been eating in the house the much because of school. I kinda miss my other favorites like breaded shrimp and baked chicken. Nothing beats home cooked meals after all.

wow, that all sounds delicious! Now I wish I wouldn't have started this discussion lol, it is making me want to cook all kinds of stuff!... I think I am going to have to add tenderloin tips to my meal planner! It really does sound fantastic! You are so right about nothing beats a home cooked meal!.... Thank you for your response! :)

My favorite home cooked meal has to be beef roast with onions, potatoes,and carrots. I love to cook this when we have company! I cook it in an electric skillet, browning the roast on both sides first, then adding water and vegetables and letting it cook until the meat is tender. Delicious!

mmmmmmmm...that really does sound delicious! I will have to try cooking it in a skillet sometime!... I haven't made a pot roast in forever, lol but now I might have to make it this weekend! Thanks for your response! :)
