Can anyone please explain to me why the middle and lower class people pay more of a percentage of taxes out of each paycheck than the wealthy? I do not understand why the percentage taken out is not a universal percentage... why is this? Any ideas?... I would appreciate any at this point... :)

Well in the United States rich people apy an astrnomical more amount than the middle class and the middle class pays more taxes than the lower class. Accually the top 25% of americans account for about 99% of all taxes paid. How much more should they pay. I am not saying somethings not wrong beacuse I am in lower middle class as well and I can't hardly afford to live. I am single no roomates and have to pay for everything myself. I'm a broke dork mofo. lol But I thought youwould like to know that.

Well, just so that you know, the only reason they account for so much is because they make more therefore they pay more in... but the percentage taken out is still not even close to those who pay in the middle and lower class.... and my family falls in the middle class income.... the percentage SHOULD BE UNIVERSAL in my eyes. thanks for your comment.

Well I'm not sticking up for the rich. I really do think something is wrong when I can't even hardly afford gas in my car. I think we should look more into the corporate call girls in our government. I think we could make more head way keeping our politicians off there knees.

Amanda, I agree with you that there should be some changes in the way the taxes are done. Here is an idea. Why couldn't we all go to a tax system where you pay taxes on what you spend and not what you earn. This would really help to build up the economy fast. If you are being taxed on what you spend as opposed to what you earn then everyone would basically pay the same tax. That would be fair to everyone. This way the rich can't keep getting richer and the poor won't keep getting poorer. And pockets within the government can't keep filling up, nor do we have to pay taxes for them. Let them pay their own taxes, on the money they spend and not the money they earn.

lower and middle class people can not afford the CA(charter accounted),and a CA make it possible for rich people,if government make a new rule regarding to tax than CA works start, they play with rule in circumstances and when the middle class people want to play than new rule is in the market. so play with money ,not for the money.
