How to lose weight without fad dieting?Studies shows that people who eat the right foods every three hours lose fat around their middle first and diet made up of smaller and more frequent meals not only lowers the level of cortisol(The belly bulging hormone),but also reduce levels of cholesterol.
1. Eat every three hours
2. Start one hour from rising
3. Stop eating three hours before bed
Sounds like you'd like to try it?

I am trying to lose weight as well!
I have upped my intake of fruits, veggies, and water.
Lowered my Fat & Carb intake!
I am able to stay under 1500 calories a day.
I found that In order to do this I am eating a lot more food! Just the right kinds of foods!
And never feel Very hungry like I use too.
I just started this last week and I am down 3 pounds already, So I must say that this diet and way of eating really does work.

Congratulations LouiseKnittel the longer you go without eating, the more your willpower will weaken and you'll more likely to binge on whatever you can. long as you hold yourself to a 100 calorie serving you can't go wrong.Keep it up and keep healthy.Thank you for sharing and cheers...

Hi
I have also heard that. The splitting up of food into more times in short duration also helps the body to digest the food and make use of the calories with out storing them in the body as fat because it recieves food in small quantity.

That's real?Sound a good idea.I wanted to shed this bulging belly. My husband told me to exercise, but if i am doing it by myself...i tend to pass it off till tomorrow.Or sometimes forgets it because i have kids to look after and house to run.I prefer going to the gym or attend an aerobics class where i can concentrate on exercising.I'll try adding this to my regimen.

Is that for real?I wanted to shed off that bulging belly....this things that grows big when women get pregnant, also some fats around those areas.I started reducing rice intake.Replace it with lots vegetables and fruits.Exercising was quite impossible for me....really it's hard to do it when you're just at home.Sometimes you tend to pass it off till tomorrow,so on so forth.Unlike when you have to go to the gym or attend aerobics class.

Yes it is real..Don't push yourself for exercising take one step at a time.Let your body adjust to waking up and doing your strength training regimen in the morning, and then you can slowly build up your activity level each day thank you for sharing, keep healthy and cheers..

The human metabolism was designed for 6 small meals a day, not 3. This has been known for decades. I happen to be hypoglycemic (the opposite of diabetic). That's what I have to do to keep my sugar stable.

frequent meals will help keep your metabolism running smoothly for the rest of the day.The key is eating five times through t the day, separated by three hours. In other words,If you eat breakfast at 7 am have a snack at 10 am,eat lunch at 1 pm,have another snack at 4 pm and finally eat dinner at 7 pm.This is perfect eating scheduled and it's up to you.Thank you for the information and Cheers..

That sounds like a diet that I would like to try. It doesn't have a person starving themselves which to me has always seemed unnatural anyway. Don't get me wrong I have tried those kind and they just don't work for me. This one sounds like one that I could live with. Thanks for the post.

If you don't mind, may I add few lines? Eat every three hours, but drink water atleast after one hour after every meal. You can drink water as much as you want, before meal if you want, this works most.

I will surely try that. I've tried several diet methods but those seemed not working for me. It's not that those methods are not effective, i am sure it were...it so happened that i can't follow them religiously. I am a good starter but not a good finisher. LOL! Hope this one works for me.

Sounds wonderful. Is there a guideline as to recommended food or just use common sense?

I've always eaten frequent meals and not gained weight. Humans forage and should eat smaller meals often. More like snacking all day. If we were living naturally we would have to seek food. Go eat a few apples from the tree and then play. Go eat some berries and then play.
Then humans got lazy and started killing other animals.
Just think if we were not meant to eat the animals. Someone in heaven was like... "Umm god we have a problem. They are not all friends like you had planned. The humans are eating everything."
