what is the longest relationship you ever had?

The longest relationship that I have ever been in: I was married for 22 years.

its been three years this month and next month we are getting married. and we will be having our first baby in feb. im so happy i cant wait to live with this guy for the rest of my life. It will be hard with him being in the army but we will be happy and live together FINALLY hahahahah

I would say that I have had 3 major relationships in my lifetime. 2 were marriages that lasted about 7 years each and the other was a live-in relationship that lasted around 3 years. I have NOT been with anyone for many years and it doesn't really bother me that much and if someone should ever come along, I do know that I would never get married again. I don't know whether I would rather be in or out of a relationship. I have had better times when I was out of one, I am thinking!! But I did have good times in them, as well.

My longest relationship lasted about 5 years. 2 of those years I was married. I agree being in a relationship feels good. But with the wrong person, which is how my relationship was, can hurt a lot. 5 years became a total blur. I feel those 5 years were a waste of my life. Back then I wasn't strong enough to see it. Luckily I was able to see it eventually. But going through that I think will help me not to have to go through another relationship like that...My shortest was actually only a week long. It may have been short, but I believe it was the best and most fulfilling relationship that I have yet to have. After the one week we are still friends. We actually work together, so I believe that maybe we are better or closer friends now then when we were together for that short amount of time.

The longest relationship is my relationship with my husband. We've known each other since high school and we started to have an intimate relationship when we were in college. We're 19 yrs old when we've become lovers. Now that we're 29 yrs old, we're still together and been married for almost 2 yrs...we're still together. though, when we were boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, it's such a roller coaster one. But, we survived that!

same as you i love being in the relationship but sometimes there are things that we cannot hold for so long no matter how hard we try to stay on that relationship. Anyway, my longest relationship is 4 years and 6 months and the shorterst is 3 weeks.

I guess the longest one I had was 10 years and 3 kids. Now I have been single for 8 years and thats the was I like it.

my marriage...we have been married for 20 years and dated for 3 years before that. obviously we are doing something right. :-) we are still very happy and we just went on a date on saturday :-)

The longest relationship I have had is to my husband. We dated for 5 yrs before we got married. We have now been married for 21 yrs, so we have been together for 26 yrs...that is more than 1/2 of my life. I plan on spending the rest of my life with him also.

my longest relationship till now in my life is parents,brother and sister relationship. smallest relationship was girlfriend relationship which got over before making any girlfriend ha ha ha:)

Well, I stayed in a marriage for 10 years for my child. I don't think I loved her dad at all. My first marriage didn't last but about 1 1/2 years. He was a player and I couldn't handle his lack of responsibility. Presently, this one is going on 6 years and we are both happy!

My longest relationship was just over 2 years... and damn that was an experience! I don't regret it though, because I learnt alot and I have become a more understanding and patient person

the longest relationship which a each person can have is a child n parent relation its the relation which doesnt ask for or to give anything in return what all to bond this relation is just love. i think that no person would like to break this relation.

The longest relationship I have had, is my marriage to my husband for almost 9 years. Our relationship has been going on for almost 10, including our marriage and before. I love the relationship we have. We have had a bumpy road but it smoothes out more and more as we travel together. I wouldn't trade the bad moments in my memory for anything because it is this that makes us closer. As for the shortest, I do not know. I have not thought of other relationships in my past for a very long time.

The longest one that I have been in was about5 yrs.this was actually my very first one.now I am in one for about4 yrs so far.I love this relationship I am in,b/c when you are with someone for a long time you feel very comfortable with them.and get to learn so much about the person!

The longest relationship i was ever in would be my last one. I was engaged for 9 years but never married. My shortest relationship lasted 2 dates LOL.

My current relationship. I have been with my husband for 23 years, we dated for 4 years before we got married. Before I met my husband my longest relationship was about a year and a half. But I dated a lot before I met my husband, my shortest relationship was probably 3 days. If I dated someone and I did not see a potential for a future I saw now need in wasting time on a doomed relationship.

I had a relationship before for 8 years. After that 8 long years, I got married to that same person. And now, we will be celebrating our 11th year wedding anniversary this September. Keep posting! HUGZ!
