A lot of people do rush. Rush in a way like when there is deadline like for example a project in school and those work related, instead of doing things when you have more time, you do it just in a nick of time. Another example is when you have to reach payout here, you do rush on or days before the cut-off date.
I'm just wondering, what else do you rush for aside from the ones that I've given, I know there are a lot things to share.
Have you experienced rushing, and yet you didn't meet your deadline? What did you do to not let this situations happen? Care to share your experiences and opinions about this?
Happy postings to all. HUGZ!

i don't want to be in a hurry that's why i do my thing in advance and i write it down in my diary and decide what is the top priority and what will be the next and so on.as i've excercise that it helps me a lot to manage my things and manage my time too so that i can do a lot of things in one day.if there's a lot to do i prioritize what should be the needed first and began the other works after the other.

i don't really like to rush... i prefer to plan my time properly and do things in my own sweet time... that's why i always try to give allowance and enough time in everything i do so that i don't have to rush... it is not good for myself as well when i rush and i won't be able to produce good results... take care and have a nice day...

Hi dhangski,
when I was a student and when I was working, I am motivated to work when it is close to deadline..LOL! I find it more productive since I can think better ideas when I am pressured..LOL!
ANyway, I have not tried also to experience about not meeting the deadline..I always make it, since, I can spent sleepless nights when I need to do it! I wanted to change it actually, but, I can't control my attitude plus as I've said, I am satisfied more of my work for the last minute..LOL!
In life, I can't remember anything that I can consider as rushing..I always take time for it like studies, work, career and marriage and for sure even up to getting/having babies, I am opposite in these area!

Hi, I'm a student.. rushing has been a habit. I usually review few hours before the exam, do my reports night before it will be submitted. There are students who prepare their things (bag, books, notes, uniform, etc) at night so that they are ready to leave in the morning. But I dont do that. When I'm about to leave in the morning, that's the time I'll prepare for my things then when I find out something's missing, I still have to search for it. that's why I arrive at school late sometimes..

I do not like person who always rushed on everything because the more you rush on things the more it would fall down out of you so I always make it sure to climb it slowly but sure.........

I hate to rush but it happens to me a lot.
Whether it was a school project, something for work that slipped my mind, finishing my taxes, doing something for a friend, etc.
I AM trying to change this.
I now have a planner and like to time my day to a "T" and include things I need to do WAY in advance from the time I have to get them done.

I cram and rush things before. But now, I somehow learned my lesson and do my projects and duties before the deadline. Although sometimes I still rush things. Well, rushing things just gives you much pressure and stress. It's better to do things smoothly and on time.

I don't rush things.. I always plan things and make it to a point that everything will happen exactly on what I planned.. I just hate rushing things, like on school projects or work related things. I always forget to include something which is important and time is only limited for the beautiful things that I can put in there if I still have time..
I am currently doing a gift for my boyfriend.. (I just don't want to mention it, he's also a mylotter so I just don't want to spoil it.he might read this).. it will be for our 1st year anniversary this coming August 19. I started doing this on the first day of this month.. I have the format and everything so that I wouldn't forget things. I still more have time to do it so if ever I forgot something, I don't have to rush. I still can include whatever things I can do to this.

i dhangski, when I was still in school, i was like that, i just do my assignment or project before or during the cut off date. Its not just me doing that but also my friends, we just rush thing when it is deadline. BUt as i grow older i have changed. and now i dont like to do the things in rush. I do it right away. and it is a nice feeling that you dont have to think because you did it right away. thnaks and have a wonderful day.

I don't want to make this complicated, if i can do it on time, i will do it ahead of the schedule. the only time i rush is to get out of the office in the evening after doing my stuff, so i will arrive home as fast as i can.

Well I'm one person who'd rush up things the last minute. I don't know, I would sometimes promise myself not to cram but can't fulfill that promise because I would repeat same cramming and rushing over and over again. Like when we would schedule a vacation. I would always say, I would pack all the luggage a week before the trip but always and forever, I would end up packing all my things the night before my trip and for that I would become sleepless because one night is really not enough. I don't know! I have never learn my lesson. But next time I promise not to do it again! I hope this promise will not be broken again.

Well, they say that haste make waste and that is true. But sometimes, I do this. I mean I accidentally rush things out. But most of the time, I want to be ahead. :)

I am the lazy type. I never rush things. Well wait, I do rush my wife and daughter when I have to take them shopping for clothes. HAHAHA! That's the only time I rush.
Rushing usually stresses people out and I hate stress so I avoid rushing at all times usually.

Hello my friend! Recently, I've been rushing the some of the editing process for our paper, it's not purely my fault that we need to rush a few things. I'm frustrated because people don't follow deadlines. I believe that if we set a schedule and fail to follow it, that is the time when people resort to rushing what they must do. I hate rushing things but sometimes, I can produce greater results with it. Hehe. Sometimes only. Like reviewing an hour before a quiz or too. Guess I have a good memory.

I don't like to rush, lol.I always get things ready before the deadline or cut off date because I am kind of person who get nervous and worried easily. If I rush my things in last minute,I will be very tensed up and don't know how to produce a good thing. Rushing will always affect my quality of work.
