Euro or Dollar Currency?

euro....it looks better! my fav coin is the 1 euro coin! i could just sit and watch it all day and i would hate to spend it

I do not think it would matter which one we pick. If we would all use the same currency around the world, each nation would lose its economic sovereignty. Which means that the whole world would end up suffering the same concequenses of a depression. In the end, whoever controls the money, controls the world. If it was the dollar, the USA would be able to control the world since its money is controlled by the government. On the other hand, if it was the euro, the European Union would control the world. Merging all currencies into one is a very scary thing. Many people, including governments, around the world are deeply scared of this since it would mean the end of freedom as we know it.

I prefer the Euro, because the US dollar is about to collapse.

Nither euro nor dollar works for my country, but if converted, yes, in dollars its a very good amount, and in Euros even bigger amount, so i guess ill go with euro.

That would be a good idea if there's only currency in all countries. But I'm sure it wont never happen in our lifetime. Of course i would prefer Euro than dollar.

i prefer euro because of rate on exchange currencies,in romania 1 euro = 2 dollars..but i like dollar i think look better.

If the world economies would merge I don't think it would matter which one of the two has a higher value. By that logic we should chose the English Pound! I prefer Euro because it's more often used in my country, as newly accepted in The European Union but not yet allowed to use Euro as a national currency.

I guess that I would have to choose the dollar since I know alot about the value of it. that is what we use here in the United States. I would have to learn how to use the euro. I would love to have the higher value though.

Interesting question. I know that a lot of Europe and other countries use the euro while others like us the dollar. People like to come to the US because they can buy things cheaper due to the devalued dollar. I wonder if the world is ready for one currency. I am cautious about that. I read the "Left Behind" series of books about the coming end of times and the return of Christ. In this, one of the signs of the nearing end of the world is the use on one worldwide currency which is demanded by the AntiChrist.

I would also prefer the euro because of its higher value.

it will be dollar for me 'coz as you have said many are using dollars than euro..it may be higher in value but dollar is much "famous" or much used than euro..
