web browsers - firefox vs. internet explorer

Firefox is better than IE because, 1. It is faster. 2. Its user interface is cleaner than IE. 3. It is easier to use.

Firefox is way better than IE. Its faster, safer, has more features, a much better tab interface, much more fetures and add-ons and a very clean interface. IE will never catch up with FF!

Customization is for me the greatest edge of firefox compared to other browsers. One could make it more secure, do more through addons which make more faster, and more stable. I'm using the portable version so anywhere I go, I browse the net my way.

i haven't really used firefox so i really don't know which is better.

Mr.Tech, Firefox is my preferance against Internet Explorer.It provides better options and a better feel while browsing.Internet Explorer is always a second option,though.

I prefer to use Firefox, though I won't mind using IE if that's all that's on a computer (i.e. on my computer at work). It's just that Firefox seems much easier to use, and therefore it's less of a hassle if I want to customize something. Also, it may just be me, but I don't seem to get nearly as many pop-ups with Firefox as I do when I use IE.

Man this discussion is getting old. We get like 2 of these every day. For me it's Firefox. I lost IE6, that's why I love Firefox.

i think that firefox 3 is much more complete than the recent Internet explorer 7. but personally, i'm bound to explorer because it was the first browser that i ever used and i find it more simple to use than the red panda
