i shift to safe mode when my computer encounters some problem where it will not occur in the safe mode.. from there i can uninstall any software that causes that problem..

Seldom. Because safe mode for me is...a mode where super errors are fixed. Doesn't happen to me, I can manage with my small RAM and a lot of careful thinking.

Well safe mode is not for the purposes you state here, Safe mode is intended for you to troubleshoot the system when it stops responding due to some software you installed, you can safely remove the item especially if it wont let you run your computer in normal mode with the new software running, also safe mode is good for using the defrag of the hard drives it speeds up the whole process.

you should have an anti-virus software. It is much better and easier if you have one. I don't often use the safe mode. But sometimes I use it for fixing problems with my software. When there are problems with my programs or if i need to fix my pc, i use it to copy files faster without any error messages.
